We stopped for dinner here before our theatre and to say the least rather disappointed with their entire set up.
We did get a table without a reservation, and had the menu delivered to the table for us. Chilled water was also presented but the glasses were hot as if straight out of the dishwasher, so warm water was on offer once it was poured.
Go to the counter and join a queue to order your dinner ... If you want more drinks you have to join the queue again so order drinks wisely or drink slowly!
My order was the Spicy Tenderloin Steak Salad was served in a bowl which made it difficult to eat Was not what I would have called spicy at all, it was rather bland and the salad was not in proportion to the meat. Basically I was served a full steak with a side bowl of salad under it. Very disappointing for the price.
The other meal was the Wagu Beef Burger which look far more appealing than what I had ordered. The chips with the burger weren't many but they appeared to be homemade, big thick and chunky and cooked well.
Would I recommend this place, not really they need to get themselves sorted,. They could solve their solution by getting table ordering via an app going and people could befree to order more and not have to make decisions based on the size of the queue...
Read moreWent for a Sunday lunch. Was OK but expected a little more. I had the Beer battered Barramundi (decent portion) while my friend had the Grilled Barramundi (1/2 the size of mine). Also ordered a serve of Garlic tiger prawns (think they were lion) pretty average. $80 total. Very hot environment as the fans only cover the counter area. Waiters walking around lost with plates of food asking tables if they had eaten. Another with a Beer searching for it's owner for 5 minutes. The worst was the toilet card key and spoon as long as your forearm that gets put down in the toilet somewhere (toilet is next to next door) and then placed on the front counter after use 🤮. Seems to be a poorly run business that has the potential to be much more. Staff are very pleasant to deal...
Read moreHidden under the ABC building, Arbour is that perfect mix of chill vibes, great food, and top-notch coffee. They serve Toby’s Estate beans, the bean that won the award.
The coffee was smooth and rich, the big brekkie came out looking like an art exhibit, and my husky Lucas instantly became the café celebrity. A lot of people stopped to pat him, he loved every second of it.
Staff were absolute legends, friendly, fast, and didn’t mind a 30-kilo furball stealing the spotlight. Perfect spot for a weekend brunch with your pup or just a solid caffeine hit with beautiful scenery at Southbank Brisbane, near wheel of brisbane and Neville bonner bridge.
We’ll definitely be back. Cheers,...
