Lovely parkland and walkway alongside the Swan River all the way to Point Fraser. It is the Eastern gateway to the city of Perth. The uniquely shaped sculptures over the children’s play equipment kept the kids fascinated but were more for adding shade to the play equipment as well as architectural features. The Council even provides doggie poop bags and bins to place them in. Point Fraser is also known by its aboriginal name of ‘boodjargabbeelup’ which means the place of river, water and the land. Read moreIt's a tranquil park as it's not a very popular commercial area. It is easy to come by car, bus or boat. Plenty of fee payable carparks (first hour is free). There are 3-4 restaurants, jetty, and toilets in On The Point. There is a small kid's playground besides but was under construction /renovation when I came here in May 2023.
