3.5 stars Newly open. Old crew of Edosei on Barracks Street, so we were expecting. Venue: Street parking/ fee payable carpark. Simple decoration in modern Japanese style (adopted most previous decoration). Added little waiting area and high table next to the entrance. Reservation is recommended. --- 7.4/10 Service: Busy as 2 waitresses. Chilled tap water and warm towels were provided when seated. Staff were polite but not attentive. Not easy to flag the waitress. Other customers received more menus? Acceptable waiting time for food, but in the wrong sequence. At first, they served sashimi to our neighbor customers (who ordered after us) first . Sushi /Sashimi chef was always busy helping in the kitchen. He couldn't focus on making sushi/ sashimi. He had to handle multiple orders of sashimi at once after he had finished the work in the kitchen. Our Sashimi was served when our grilled eel rice was finished half. The younger waitress did introduce the Sashimi proactively without smiles (dull looking). The manager (elder Japanese waitress) gave you warm welcoming smiles only, then busy teaching the staff, serving Japanese customers, assisting and helping the photographer. Felt that she avoided serving us. Probably, they will become better when they run smoothly later. --- 7.1/10 F&B: Simple food menu. F&B: Simple menu. Totally different from Edosei's. Simple food presentation. Normal portions. Prices slightly on high side. We didn't order desserts as not attractive. Prawn Tempura, $32/5pcs: Not devein one prawn well (1/3 vein still there). Authentic Japanese prawn tempura is straight. They were not straight. It is good to serve with warm Tempura sauce. --- 6/10 Conger Eel Rice, $34: served with Pickled ginger, spring onions, and nori on the top. The rice and the conger were cooked very well. --- 8.3/10 3 kinds of Sashimi, $34/9pcs: Salmon, Tuna, King Fish 3 pcs each. Three pieces were still partially connected. Please sharpen the sushi knife professionally. The tuna was...
