The service we received was fine until an incident occurred upon my return from a night out. For security reasons, all guests must have their names listed in the rooms they are staying in. When I arrived It was cold, and my key card was not working, leaving me unable to access my room as our cards were restricted. At reception, the duty manager, Clether, informed me that only the person whose name is on the room can be issued new keys. I explained that a staff member had issued us new keys the previous day without any issue when our cards were not working properly. I tried to explain that my name should be stated in their computer as one of the residents staying in the room, I attempted to offer my ID as proof of stay but he was dismissive, cut me off multiple times, and was visibly irritated. Despite being locked out with all my belongings inside, he brushed me off when I requested he could escort me to the room so that I could access to my car keys or atleast a jacket.
Once my friend whose name was under the booking came, We later learned we had three noise complaints, although we had only received one and immediately turned the music down. The other two complaints allegedly occurred when we were not even at the hotel, leading to our access being restricted. As my friend was speaking he constantly cut her off, stated she was trying to argue when she wanted to explain the situation and how it doesn't add up on how we received noise complaints when we were not at the hotel. As she's speaking he's getting frustrated and being very rude and even asked "Do you want to go in your room or not" to end the conversation absolutely disgusting the way he spoke to everyone.
Additionally, I witnessed the same manager swearing at another customer who was dealing with a separate issue. His professionalism as a manager was severely lacking. Fortunately, the next day the assistant manager, Sirius, was very helpful, showed understanding, and acknowledged that the duty manager’s behavior was unacceptable and apologised for the experience we had.
Given the price of the rooms and the beautiful setting of the hotel, we did not expect this type...
Read moreStayed here for a month in Dec 2024. I got the standard king bedroom with a view of Swan River. Absolutely enjoyed beautiful sunrise and sunset views from my window.
Rooms were spacious, clean, and good lighting. However, it lacked basic settings such as a table to put your suitcase on. There was only a desk table, a Mini fridge that worked when it was closed in a certain way (I didn't use the fridge much, so I didn't complain). No microwave, which was bummer. The room doors make very loud sounds, I was startled a few times when guests in my neighbor rooms were in and out. There is no way to close the doors without the loud sound. They need to fix all their doors.
Service in terms of house cleaning was a hit or miss. Few did a great job, and a few were not so great, forgetting to stock up toiletries, and I had to request again. The reception service was also a hit or miss. There were days I couldn't get them on the phone at all, so I went downstairs to get information. They did an excellent job in controlling a few very unruly neighbors who were in and out very late in the night, talking extremely loudly, banging on their doors. I was told the reception received multiple complaints from other rooms at the same time, so they resolved the issue quickly.
This place doesn't have a hotel restaurant/bar. However, there are a few restaurants around within walking distance. There is IGA downstairs. By the way, the escalator never worked in my entire month stay there.
Interms of value for money, they clearly have a lot of areas to improve, especially if their business model is to convert them to serviced appartments full time. I would consider staying in the future for less price tag as it isn't a 5-star...
Read moreWe had a truly wonderful stay here and can’t recommend it highly enough!||From the start, the staff made all the difference – attentive, friendly, always smiling, and incredibly helpful with anything we asked. Their warmth really set the tone for the whole trip. Special thanks to Sirus and Rohit, as well as the rest of the team, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.||We stayed in a 2-bedroom residence which was impressively spacious. Each room was comfortable, and there was even a lobby-style area perfect for keeping luggage neatly out of the way – a thoughtful touch that made the apartment feel even larger.||The location is unbeatable. Free buses take you straight into the city, plus direct routes to Fremantle, Westfield Carousel, and Watertown outlet mall. The complimentary red and yellow CAT buses also stop nearby, making it effortless to get around without needing a car. Despite being so well connected, the property is wonderfully peaceful and quiet at night – perfect for a good night’s rest before exploring again the next day.||If you’re lucky enough to get a room facing the Swan River, the views are stunning – otherwise, the hotel lounge offers the same beautiful outlook. Just downstairs is a large, well-stocked supermarket, and within a few minutes’ walk are excellent cafés like Kinky Lizard and Do Dough. ||All in all, this accommodation ticks every box – comfort, convenience, and hospitality at its best. We’ll happily return and would recommend it to anyone...
