We came here for a small bite and didn't find the food to be amazing. To be fair, I was the only one to have a burger (chicken burger). My partner and the kids had starters, and all didn't find them very good. From other reviews the beef burgers sound good, and given this is a burger place, I'd suggest getting a burger if you do come here, and skipping starters, as we didn't find them good at all. I went for the chicken burger 2.0. It was quite a nice burger, with moist chicken. It didn't have the strongest flavours coming through, but it was cooked well. The chips were nice, although quite rich, so I couldn't finish them. My partner went for the nachos, and she said they didn't have the fresh flavour she was hoping for. She said they were more creamy than fresh and was disappointed by them. One of our girls went for the crispy chicken starter, and they were way overcooked and so dry and tasteless. For 10 euros, we felt quite ripped off by them. Our other girl went for the calamari and said it wasn't like other calamari she'd had and wasn't happy with it, leaving some. Both girls really loved the mocktails they had, so would recommend these. I went for the Duvel 666 which was delicious. My partner went for a glass of white wine, which she said was pleasant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If we were to head back here, we would definitely stick to just the beef burgers, though, and feel we made a mistake in what...

I always want to visit a place twice, before I write a review, just to be sure that the win or fail I experienced wasn't random. But at Ellis, I knew that already after first visit, that 5 stars are the only chocie here. First, the location. It is located at St. Therese square, which is a go-to spot for foodies (at least for me anyway), especially on weekends. And the church there (St. Therese, surprisingly) is one of the most beautiful ones in Brussels, even though it is well hidden (in Brussels, not at the square :) ) Then, the service. The people there look genuinely happy that they see you! And don't be afraid to ask them to speak English, they do, which is not exception in Brussels, but still. Then the food. There is a large choice of burgers (vegetarian ones included, try Portobello) that range from classics to interesting experiments. My last visit was during the game season, so the specialty burgers were deer burger and boar burger with cranberries and sweet onion. I would never even think of putting that combination between two buns, but it was one of the most delicious things I've tasted since I've moved to Belgium. Last advantage: It won't ruin you. The price of the burgers lies in 9-15€ range and it is definitely worth it. So if you are in this general idea, try Ellis. And while you are waiting for your food, you can also educate yourslef on the...

Ellis used to be one of my favorite burger restaurants in Brussels, but after my latest dining experience I wonder, what has become of this place? Where to begin... I was there with two friends, and we ordered three burgers. The first one arrived after 30 minutes; both the burger and the fries were cold, so we sent it back. The second one arrived after another 10 minutes and didn't have the extra cheese I asked for. At this point, no sign of the other two burgers. We asked the waiter, who had to take our order again, because apparently something had gone wrong in the kitchen. The two burgers finally arrived after another 10 minutes (a total of 50 minutes since we had ordered,) and while this time the patty was warm, the cheese was again cold (I mean from the fridge, not melting at all.) The waiter offered not to charge us for the sides, as an apology for the inconvenience, but when we went to pay, it turned out that wasn't possible, so we just had a 10% discount. Unfortunately after this experience I don't think I'll go back to this...

Ellis Gourmet Burger Sint-Katelijne in Brussels isn't just another burger joint, it's an experience of culinary delight. Among their offerings, the orange lemonade is an absolute standout. So refreshing and perfectly balanced, it had us returning two days in a row just for another taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant is friendly and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal. The staff is quick and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The highlight, however, is their food. The burgers are crafted with care and the ingredients are fresh, making for a delicious meal. But it's their orange lemonade that is the show stealer. A perfect blend of sweet and tangy, it provides a refreshing accompaniment to their hearty burgers. Overall, Ellis Gourmet Burger Sint-Katelijne is worth a visit for its fantastic food, excellent service, and that unforgettable orange lemonade.

Great burger place. Had lunch here, and the student combo is really worth it - 12€ for their basic burger and fries. You can also substitute for their special burgers for 4€ extra, and it is still worth it. I had the Korean Barbecue burger, and it was delicious, juicy, and slightly spicy. Highly recommend it. Their fries are also good and very well salted. I also tried the mocktail Son of a Peach, and it was fizzy and refreshing. Had a great lunch here. You can also make any burger a bunless, burger and other customizations.
