My partner planned a trip to the Rockies for my 40th birthday with my 15 and 17 year old daughters, and the one activity they were most excited about was white water rafting. Canadian Rockies Rafting absolutely delivered! We chose the Horseshoe Canyon route, even though my partner was the only one with any rafting experience… Because hey, if you’re going to do it, you might as well go all in with level 4 rapids! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and exceeded all expectations. The staff were organized, professional, and made sure we felt safe and confident every step of the way. Getting suited up was smooth, and the bus ride to the launch point was full of laughs and anticipation. We had Geoff and Zac as our guides and what a team! Geoff was absolutely hilarious but also incredibly clear and reassuring with his instructions. I was nervous about the cliff jump, but he literally held my hand and cheered me on, and had me laughing as soon as I hit solid ground again. He even slipped in a fascinating mini history lesson during a calm stretch of the river, sharing stories about Horseshoe Canyon’s Indigenous legends and the movies filmed there which captivated my 15 year old as she is very interested in history! Zac guided the second half of our trip and brought his own energy to the experience; funny, laid back, and full of charm (my 17 year old may or may not have suddenly taken a keen interest in Australia and rafting techniques when he was talking). By the end, both my daughters declared it the highlight of our entire trip and said it was a “core memory” moment. Whether you’re a seasoned adrenaline junkie or a total chicken like me, I couldn’t recommend Canadian Rockies Rafting more. The crew made us feel safe, welcomed, and gave us an unforgettable adventure we’ll be talking about for years.

If you’re looking for an average rafting trip, look elsewhere. But if you want to be adopted by a river guide named Quynton, also known as our fearless Boat Daddy, and scream-laugh your way through waves big enough to baptize you into a whole new personality, this is the place. Our bachelorette crew, proudly known as The Liability, rolled up ready to sip mimosas and look cute. Instead, we got matching helmets, paddles, and a crash course in “don’t fall out or you’re swimming to Saskatchewan.” Quynton kept us alive through every rapid, shouting “forward paddle” and “get down” like a drill sergeant but with the soothing confidence of someone who definitely has a pet snake and a secret TikTok account. He guided us like the river whisperer he is with steady hands on the oars, a mischievous grin, and the patience of a saint as we screamed every time a leaf floated by. Somewhere between “forward paddle” and “get down” we decided Quynton wasn’t just our guide, he was family. By the end, we were ready to buy him a Number One Boat Dad mug and invite him to Thanksgiving. Would recommend? Absolutely. Whether you’re celebrating a bachelorette, a birthday, or just trying to find your inner river warrior, ask for Quynton. Boat Daddy knows best. 🚣‍♂️💦

Just amazing, 5 stars! We were a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 six year old kids). 2 young siblings from US also joined us in our raft. Our guide was Mikella and she was fantastic and fun-loving. We were transported in a van from their office in Canmore to the base where the team provided rafting gear (helmet, wet suites and shoes). This was followed by a 10 minute safety briefing. The staff were very professional and friendly. We opted for the medium-level course Kananaskis lake with 2-3 rapids. Mikella’s skills and experience, along with our team’s hard work made the rafting a thrilling adventure. The kids too enjoyed every bit of the 2 hour course. We had friendly water fights with other rafts and enjoyed jumping in the lake. I would say this is a must try if you are visiting Banff. It’s fun and safe for kids too. Thanks to Guide Mikella and Canadian Rockies team for a safe and fun-filled afternoon.

Absolutely terrible service. I wish there was a negative star. I wanted to book for 10 people for a stagette. I started booking back in February since they were on winter hours no one was in the office so I booked online. A few weeks before the weekend of the stagette I had my final number and wanted to decrease my original reservation to 7 people. After phoning, emailing and contacting on every social media site I was finally able to get a hold of person over the phone to decrease my reservation after the phone call I get the email confirmation back saying my whole trip was canceled. I immediately phoned back to get this corrected and I got a apology that was a mistake. After receiving the confirmation to decrease my booking from 10 to 7 people it was 2 weeks before the event. I noticed my credit card bill was very high. After looking through my transaction I noticed I never received the initial credit for the decrease in the reservation and they then CHARGED ME FOR and addition 7 people. After phoning multiple times again and going onto their website to find a promotion for “ early season booking for 40 % “ which I did not receive. Myself, and my sister both tried to get ahold of them from various phones and social media site which multiple emails. Once we finally got ahold of someone after about 30 phone calls, and 15 emails. The stated that they were aware they owned me a credit, but it just so happen that their debit machine was down and they wouldn’t honour the 40 % early season booking discount cause it was not mentioned in the initial payment !!! They weren’t answering their phones !!! After all this we just decided to cancel all together. It took 2 separate transactions and a etransfer all that which did not equal any of the payments I made. And it just so happened they got their debit machine working once I put up a stink about getting my...
