First time coming back here since they have done renovations and it definitely has changed in some aspects and stayed the same in others. The vibe has definitely changed and it feels more like a fine dining establishment now. The way the menu works is different now as well, meats still are brought around but all the sides you order through your server and are more like “taster” sizes. I was okay with this as you would want to be eating more of the meats that are circling around anyway as that’s what you really are paying for lol. The quality of meats is what I remember it to be, some meats were tender and others a bit chewer. It’s not the fault of the cooks so it’s not something I’ll complain about. The flavour profiles of some of the meats is what I remember it to be which is great as I did enjoy the flavours they had going. The side dishes we did order were nice as well, they at times did take a little long to come but it’s to be expected when it’s busy. I found the service to be good, as it got in the last hour of the two hour limit it did get busier and then I noticed the meats came around a lot less frequently. On one hand we had more time to digest but we did end up waiting almost 30 mins for anything to come around at some point. Eventually a guy did and we were able to pass on that we were hoping for a bit more prime rib. He said he’d get on that and he did go get one of his colleagues to bring it on over promptly which was great! They even checked back in before our plates were taken to ask if we wanted a bit more which is appreciated and a great gesture. As for other table service, our waitress was super nice and attentive even with how busy it got she still made sure to check on us for refills and side item requests. Overall it’s still a great place to dine, of course it has changed but the service still feels at the level it was before as well as quality of food. It was still a pleasant experience :) One thing to note is it is very expensive so be prepared for that! It’s easily $90 CAD per person. Niagara is normally expensive anyway truth be told lol. But, I do find the price to be worth it for what you are offered here. It’s worth trying if you are looking for some good food and a unique dinning experience!

Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Hype or Price Went to Copacabana Brazilian steakhouse for what was supposed to be an “all-you-can-eat” experience, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had. 1. Terrible Seating: They sat us way in the corner, far from the kitchen. By the time any food made it to us (which was rare), it was either cold or already picked over. 2. Ignored by Servers: The meat servers consistently skipped our table. When they did stop by, we were given the last 2-3 pieces left, clearly meant for the table before us. We kept thinking they’d come back around—they didn’t. 3. Not Enough Food: We sat there for 90 minutes and only had maybe 6-7 rounds of meat come by, and each time it was just 1-2 small slices. At one point, we waited a full 20 minutes without a single server coming to our table. We basically paid $90 per person for maybe 15 small slices of very average meat. 4. Mediocre Quality: The meat wasn’t anything special—bland, dry, and uninspiring. We ended up drinking a ton of water just to feel somewhat full. Kind of defeats the purpose of an AYCE place. 5. Didn’t Get Full, Had to Leave Hungry: We had to leave early for a nearby show, still hungry and frustrated. Definitely not the experience we were expecting from a place that brands itself as a premium AYCE. 6. No Dessert Offered: No ice cream or dessert was brought out at the end, which I thought was standard for places like this. Yet another letdown. Even though we were upset, we still paid the full, expensive bill — because we’re decent people and didn’t want to make a scene. But we honestly left feeling ripped off. I truly hope a manager or someone from the restaurant reaches out to me. A call, a reply — anything — to take some responsibility would be appreciated. Overpriced, underwhelming, and borderline scammy. Never going back, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closed down soon. Avoid it.

Renovated look is nice although a few flaws. Vestibule let's in rush of cold air. Waiting area has 2 seats only and very cramped. Reception desk area is designed for 2 customer at a time , the rest need to cramp together on side. You are greeted by a lady with her eyes glued to a tablet. Maybe out it down and greet your guests. Ambiance is on darker side. Self serve buffet is gone. Can order a la carte salads & sides There are no pictures so you don't know what you're getting until it shows up at your table. Sides were hit miss. In Brasa sides were always a hit because of self serve buffet and you choose exactly what you want. Sides like mushroom and pork belly come burnt. grilled stuff burnt too. Oops. Punctuality not accurate. Reservation makes a big deal out of arrival time but table not ready. Reserved a booth. Did not get a booth. Not many booths available. Tables close to other guests. Was there on holiday - no dancers - music loud like in a bar club. No more SIM or NAO flip discs No meat poster like Brasa Menu is slow to load open on pdf and laggy. Printed menu if requested is a printed white piece of paper - text only - so no pictures means you don't know exactly what your side order will be. When not too busy, speed of waiters is good. Meet servers not dressed like Brasa More meat choices than Brasa - around 13 on skewers including parmesan mignon , steak & others as well as another 8 or so on board including lamb, salmon, ribs This visit the meats were well done and not too bloody. Unfortunately the chickens were mostly burnt. Some meats have way too much salt. Lime Cilantro Chicken was good though. Drinks were meh considering the over the top marketing for BAR Copa including on meat server shirts. Desert cart is nice with Vanilla bean gelato being the star. There's some brownies too and some cake. There is a mandatory 18% tip included so even if waiter do a terrible job they pay themselves well.

I want to start by saying the reviews that are 4 stars or less and negative, that precede this one are all completely inaccurate. Every. Single. One. These people are not based in reality. They are clearly people who are miserable and nothing can please them. I beg you to give this place a chance just based on the fact that all bad reviews here are false put here by people who have nothing better to do than complain about anything in life. I am not affiliated with this place at all...just a local who decided to go here on Saturday night in March. Due to these misguided reviews I was apprehensive but still went...Boy was I glad I did.

I want to first apologize because I do not have names of individuals I came in contact with but starting with the parking shuttle (I believe only available on weekends) the driver was so informative, happy and welcoming. She made the start of the evening so pleasant and was a harbinger of the amazing experience to come.

Now I'd like to add that the decor/restaurant and table set up are all beautifully done. Very nice environment to walk into ..everyone was happy and helpful. Once we were seated we were able to order drinks, appetizers/sides and anything we wanted right from our phone. NO menus to fool with/ no ipad..just straight from the convenience of your phone. And when I say the sides come quick...they come quick. Our entire table was filled with so much delicious meats and sides within 10 minutes of us being sat. Our drinks were ordered and arrived instantaneously as well.

The food was nothing short of AMAZING. Every carver came to our table so many times that I was unable to keep up. There was never a lack of food being offered and if by some fluke something missed you...a simple ask would ensure you have the meat you wanted brought over at the earliest possible chance. for us it was 2 minutes or less. You don't realize how beneficial the ordering of the sides is on the app until you are sitting there getting bombarded with delicious meats and not wanting to leave. The servers make sure you don't have to by running out anything ordered within minutes of the order being placed. When you just want to relax and enjoy an evening out ...this feature is key to that.

I can't say enough good things about the food, the staff or the amazing cooks that work behind the scenes. Every second of this experience made me want to come back for more. It also made me angry to think about how many negative reviews I read prior to visiting only to realize that each and every one was an absolute lie.

This restaurant is by far one of the best bang for your buck. They have several promotional nights on their website which all have benefits depending on the night you're attending.

For any prospective guests who are wanting to go here and give it a try. I strongly encourage you to do so and soon. I will say that if you are looking for a relaxed setting, then you should book the earlier times starting at 5pm. Between 5-7pm you are likely to get the best service but you wont get to experience the weekend entertainment. When the dancers come out...it does get quite loud but that is the entertainment portion. If you don't like or want entertainment then I suggest going during that time. But if you are a fan of music and dancing...then waiting until after 7pm would be beneficial because it is very fun to watch and the music sounds great. Also if you go earlier the restaurant will likely be less busy which allows the staff to put their focus into the guests that are there. Because obviously the later it gets, the fuller it will be and the wait times may increase but that is to be expected at any good restaurant.

If you decide to go, which i strongly encourage you to do so, please be kind to the staff. If you do go based on this review, then all I ask is that you form your own decision and leave these wonderful people a review that will make them realize they are doing it right and to keep up the good work. 15/10 Thanks for reading. Very...

I have never gone out of my way to leave a negative review before but feel that this one is warranted. I’m only posting this because I emailed the GM Sunday, received no response and read through some others that sounded eerily similar. It’s clear that management does not care about the guest experience and is satisfied with the tourist traffic they receive. Next time I’ll skip this place and visit Brasa. Here’s my email that the GM declined to respond to!

Hi there,

My boyfriend and I dined at your establishment tonight (July 7th) and were pretty disappointed with the service we received and wanted to make sure that you were made aware. We had previously been once before for a friend's birthday and had such a great time so we were very let down by what transpired this evening. I booked a reservation online requesting the patio for 7:45, our drive ended up being shorter than expected so we arrived about 10 minutes early. The table that was sat before us had no reservation and was given the last available patio table. We ended up waiting for the host to clean a table and getting a table inside next to the patio which was fine. Our server did not arrive at our table to greet us for at least 15 minutes, but it could have been closer to 20. She thanked us for "being patient" but didn't apologize for the wait or seem overly concerned that her table was waiting nearly 20 minutes for a hello. Our drinks, a diet pepsi and a gingerale, took another 10 minutes. At this point we have been sitting for nearly half an hour with not even a water. At around 50 minutes of us sitting we had only been brought one skewer while the tables next to and behind us are being served, we are being walked past repeatedly. This goes on for a little while until one of the carvers (he had longer hair) notices and asks us if any meat has been brought to our table. We tell him no, that we have only been served once and he apologizes and says he thought someone was looking after us and he will make sure service is more consistent. Please give our thanks to this young man for noticing and actually acknowledging that we were being flat out ignored, he is the only reason that we may ever revisit your establishment. Our table service was quite sparse but she was pleasant enough when she was there. When we were asked how things were going by our server she said she would let the carver manager know but no managers table touched or bothered to make sure that things went smoothly the rest of the night. By the time that we were receiving consistent service they had run out of the only two things I was really looking forward to. As a couple that both work in the industry, we are very understanding and lenient when it comes to issues when dining out, but waiting over an hour to eat while watching everyone around us get served is simply not acceptable. We hope the knowledge of our experience helps you to ensure that situations like this don't occur in the...

I wanted to start the review higher as most of the food was actually good, however the service was awful and seeing all the other positive reviews and witnessing neighbouring tables beside us made us feel even worse to why we received the service that we did. To begin my wife surprised me with a birthday dinner here July 6th, as we arrived we had reservations for 3 my wife and I, and our 2 year old (age is important to the story).

Upon arriving they spent a few minutes searching for a table for, then gave us a few options while we had reservations. One of the tables we were told it’s reserved for later but if we were only going to be there for not for the full time we could have it… Normally we don’t stay the full 2 hours, however with a 2 year old we wanted to make sure we could enjoy the night and make sure he was eating. We found another table eventually and were hoping to finally start the night. Now mind you this was our first time to this branch but here, they don’t use the green/red cards to let the servers know you would like the food to keep coming or if you need a break.

For the first 30 minutes we did get offered cuts of meat but I started to notice it was only the last few pieces of the meat that most likely had made it rounds around the restaurant and saw tables turning it down. It was actually still ok mostly as only some were dry but when we wanted only 1 of the last few to enjoy fresher cuts. While servers would leave the 2-3 pieces they had left just to get rid of it? After that the service significantly slowed down I’m talking about literally 10-15+ minutes to get served more meat. Yet it would be the last few cuts and for the time you’re waiting it’s not much to consume.

I was hoping the servers would come out as perhaps the kitchen was making a fresh batch. As we waited we noticed the neighbouring tables literally beside us to our right and left receiving fresh meat constantly, while we were being skipped? Had multiple times where the server would put their back’s against us and when they finished serving the other tables they would walk around us to get to our other neighbours. It got to the point where I had to get the servers attention to be asked to get served… While I understand things do get busy but when we’re getting ignored especially in a buffet environment and our neighbours are getting served, yet having to ask it feels somewhat disrespectful.

Coming to our time limit and losing hope of being served we decided to leave. It took a while to get our bill but to our surprised we got presented 2 adults and a child price. Our server and hostess didn’t even ask how old our son is and thought it was appropriate to charge him the child’s price while all of us didn’t even get served properly. That was a disappointing birthday dinner and came to a point we had to get a bit more food elsewhere to feel content. This was our experience and our first and last time to...
