Very unprofessional front desk clerks (August 26th 2022 @ 5:00pm). We had the displeasure of dealing with a “gentleman” named Lane, who was nothing but disrespectful to my husband and myself. Our room was booked under my husbands name, but paid with a company credit card. Lane laughed in my husbands face and told us it was not a company credit card, and would not let us check in (we have a small family business, it’s what we use for our company card). We had to switch method of payments. But when my husband came out to tell me I went inside to speak to Lane, he then changed his story when I told him my last name was the same as the one on the card, but he couldn’t bother to check himself to see there was more than one person for the room. And gave attitude when I asked him about it. I asked for a refund although I’m sure Lane would have changed our payment back to the other credit card. But his big headed ego turned me off. When I asked to speak to a manager her scoffed in my face, and was very vague when one would be in. I’m shocked there’s no evening manager to speak to when problems arise. I requested to have a manager call us (we will see if that happens). I think maybe Front desk, dealing with customers isn’t Lanes calling. Our company travels out west a lot and we will make sure to steer clear of the best western chain. Thankfully you’re located close to a holiday inn, their staff have clearly been trained properly in customer service and have been nothing but kind.
