While visiting the old city of Macao is by far the best thing the city has to offer in my opinion, visiting the casinos on the new island of Macao is also an interesting experience. Casinos aren't my most favorite places in the world and yet, the Venetian managed to change my opinion on the matter. First and foremost, it is entirely possible to spend days around this place without actually seeing a single activity related to gambling. Thanks to the casino strict rules regarding casino floor access, it is absolutely impossible to randomly access a gambling circle without willingly showing your passport. Among the activities offered by the complex, you can visit the reproduction of Venice in which the fake sky and the gondola are quite convincing. Note that gondola rides are paying (158/120MOP per adult/child) and you also have the possibility of renting a private ride for 598MOP. Beware, you may have to wait up to 1h to get access to a boat even if you book a private ride ahead of time! The complex includes plenty of luxury shops, regular stores (such as Uniqlo, Nike, Muji, Watsons), pharmacies, restaurants and activities such as the teamLab SuperNature exhibition or concerts. In case you get bored of staying in Venice, you can easily roam around and end up in the Londoner or the Parisian without having to set a foot outside since everything is connected! While the experience remains basically the same (shop) the surrounding gives you plenty of picture worthy space.

Speaking of the Venetian as a Hotel to sleep in, the room are extremely spacious and clean, the bed are absolutely confortable and the bathroom is great. The staff speaks English for the most part and they're extremely helpful. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it weren't for one thing that can't be ignored and should ALWAYS be mentioned. The rooms smell of cigarette and there is nothing that can be done about it. Out of my stay in the hotel, I went to 3 different rooms in different floors (ended in the Suite Rialto de Luxe thanks to a generous upgrade from the staff) and no matter the room, the smell of cigarette was around us. While this isn't really an issue for most, having asthma in the middle of the night, waking up with a stuffy nose and caring for a coughing baby wasn't really an enjoyable experience. If this happens to you, note that the store part of the complex doesn't smell of cigarette and it is an enjoyable walk to "breath" at night once the crowd is gone.

I will always be grateful to the staff of this hotel who tried their best to improve my stay because I know it's not their fault if most people smoke even when they aren't supposed to. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel if the smell of smoke isn't an issue for you, but if you're suffering from any breathing issues (asthma, allergies, etc.) I'd recommend you to call another smoke free hotel next door and come visit the Venetian instead, it's...

Explore the Grand Canal Shoppes: The Venetian Macau is famous for its replica of the canals of Venice, complete with gondolas and beautiful architecture. Take some time to wander through the Grand Canal Shoppes, a shopping mall designed to resemble the streets of Venice. You can shop, dine, and enjoy the charming atmosphere.

Enjoy the gondola ride: One of the highlights of The Venetian Macau is the gondola ride along the canals. You can choose between an indoor ride or an outdoor ride that takes you around the resort. It's a romantic and unique experience, so consider taking a ride and enjoy the Venetian ambiance.

Visit the casino: The Venetian Macau is home to one of the largest casinos in the world. If you enjoy gambling or want to experience the vibrant casino atmosphere, head to the gaming floor. However, remember to gamble responsibly and set a budget for yourself.

Watch a show or concert: The Venetian Macau often hosts a variety of entertainment shows and concerts. Check the schedule in advance to see if there are any performances that interest you. It's a great way to experience live entertainment during your visit.

Dine at a variety of restaurants: The resort offers a wide range of dining options, from casual eateries to fine dining restaurants. Explore the culinary scene and indulge in different cuisines. Don't miss the chance to try some authentic Macanese dishes, which blend Chinese and Portuguese influences.

Visit the observation deck: The Venetian Macau has an observation deck called "SkyCab" on the 7th floor. It offers panoramic views of the resort and the Cotai Strip. Take the elevator up and enjoy the stunning vistas of Macau from above.

Check out the shops: Apart from the Grand Canal Shoppes, The Venetian Macau features a variety of luxury brand shops and boutiques. If you're a shopping enthusiast, take some time to explore the different stores and browse through their offerings.

Plan for crowds: The Venetian Macau is a popular tourist destination, so expect it to be crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. Try to visit during off-peak hours if you prefer a less crowded experience.

Dress comfortably: The resort is quite vast, and you may need to do some walking to explore the various attractions. Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Macau can be hot and humid, so lightweight and breathable clothing is recommended.

Take advantage of transportation options: The Venetian Macau provides shuttle buses that connect major transportation hubs and other popular destinations in Macau. Check the shuttle bus schedule and routes to make your travel around the city more convenient.

Remember to check the latest information, opening hours, and any specific guidelines or restrictions on The Venetian Macau's official website before your visit. Enjoy your time...

Hello! I want to leave a review about The Venetian in Macau. We stayed for only 3 days with the family to experience the local flavor, visit the casino and boutiques, and see Las Vegas in Chinese style :)

The city left unforgettable impressions. So let’s start with Positive Aspects: The hotel room was simply amazing; at first, I couldn't believe that for such a price we were getting such a luxurious room. The room was clean, very, very spacious, with excellent branded robes, slippers, and Roberto Cavalli cosmetics. We didn't take breakfast; the hotel is so huge that by the time you get to breakfast, it would be midnight πŸ˜‚ It took us 20 minutes to walk to the pool from our room, so I'm not exaggerating. :)) I was impressed by how well everything was copied; it really felt like being in Venice. My husband is Italian, and he was also impressed by the details. So, kudos to them, bravo πŸ‘

About Negative Aspects: Upon check-in, there were huge queues; the place is very lively and busy, and we had to stand in line with a small child because there were so many people. The hotel is designed like Venice (hence the name), with London across the street and Paris nearby. We visited all the hotels, and by feeling, Venice is the largest, but the food and food court, in my opinion, are the worst. It only has Asian food, and the Michelin restaurants in the hotel didn't particularly impress us either. We liked the restaurants in The Londoner the most. There is a lot of European and international cuisine, and in my opinion, the quality was better and tastier there.

Boutiques: There are more boutiques than in Dubai Mall; each hotel has its own boutiques. However, in The Venetian, I was disappointed with the attitude in the boutiques. I went into Bulgari because I wanted to buy a pendant, and the consultant greeted me at the door with the phrase "Do you want to take a photo?" I was simply shocked by such an attitude and left. The staff in the boutiques, by the way, do not know English at all and are poorly customer-oriented. Overall: Not bad. 4/5 For such a large scale, the hotel is quite clean, beautiful, and has a variety of entertainment options. I liked the casino in The Venetian the most, by the way. The larger the hotel, the harder it is to maintain its level at the top, so I give it some leeway here. Overall, I liked it, but there is room for...

The Venetian Macao – A Comfortable and Convenient Stay I stayed at The Venetian Macao in January, and the overall experience was great. The weather was cool and pleasant, which made exploring the hotel and its surroundings even more enjoyable. Spacious & Well-Equipped Rooms One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is its large and well-furnished rooms. The bathroom was also impressive, featuring double sinks, which made it very convenient when getting ready, especially in a rush. Luxury with a Closer Look The hotel is grand and luxurious, with elegant decorations that make a strong first impression. However, if you look closely at the details, some aspects may feel a bit ordinary rather than truly high-end. Comfort & Convenience The room itself was very comfortable and functional. The large windows allowed for plenty of natural light, and the separate living area made it feel even more spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the wardrobe was large enough for longer stays. Everything in the room was well-designed for convenience. Shopping & Dining at Your Doorstep One of the best things about The Venetian Macao is its massive shopping mall. You can simply take the elevator down and start shopping right away. The hotel also has a food court with a wide variety of food options at reasonable prices, which is great compared to other dining choices within the hotel. The Downside: Check-In Experience The biggest downside for me was the check-in process, which is quite common in large Macau hotels. Even though I checked in quite late at around 8 PM, my room was located on the other side of the building. I had to drag my luggage through a crowded elevator and walk a long distance, which took about 30 minutes before finally reaching my room. Final Thoughts Overall, I think this hotel is worth the stay, especially for the comfort and convenience it offers. If you’re looking for a place where everything you need is in one location, this is definitely the place for you! Rating: βββββ˜† (4/5) Would I stay here again? Yes, but I’d prepare for the check-in process!

Title: Mediocre Experience at Venetian Macao Hotel Rating: β˜…β˜…β˜†β˜†β˜† I recently stayed at the Venetian Macao Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While there were a few positive aspects, there were several key issues that significantly impacted my overall satisfaction. First and foremost, one of the most disappointing aspects of my stay was the persistent smoke odor in my supposedly non-smoking room. Despite the hotel's policy, the room reeked of stale smoke, making it an uncomfortable environment to relax in. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for enforcing non-smoking policies was a major letdown. Furthermore, the facilities at the Venetian Macao Hotel felt outdated and in need of renovation. The decor and furnishings appeared worn and tired, lacking the modern touch I had expected from a hotel of this caliber. It was evident that the property had not kept up with the times, which was disappointing. Another aspect that left a sour taste in my mouth was the long queuing time for check-in. It was frustrating to spend a significant amount of time waiting in line, especially after a tiring journey. The lack of efficiency and organization in the check-in process was a letdown and impacted the overall flow of my stay. On a slightly more positive note, I found the service provided by the staff to be acceptable. While it wasn't exceptional, the hotel staff members were generally courteous and willing to assist when needed. However, this alone could not make up for the other shortcomings I encountered during my stay. In conclusion, my experience at the Venetian Macao Hotel was far from satisfying. The persistent smoke odor in a non-smoking room, dated facilities, and long queuing time for check-in overshadowed the average service provided by the staff. Considering the reputation and expectations associated with the Venetian brand, I found this particular establishment to be lacking in several key areas. I would recommend exploring other options when choosing accommodations in Macao.
