Title: Mediocre Experience at Venetian Macao Hotel Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently stayed at the Venetian Macao Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While there were a few positive aspects, there were several key issues that significantly impacted my overall satisfaction. First and foremost, one of the most disappointing aspects of my stay was the persistent smoke odor in my supposedly non-smoking room. Despite the hotel's policy, the room reeked of stale smoke, making it an uncomfortable environment to relax in. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for enforcing non-smoking policies was a major letdown. Furthermore, the facilities at the Venetian Macao Hotel felt outdated and in need of renovation. The decor and furnishings appeared worn and tired, lacking the modern touch I had expected from a hotel of this caliber. It was evident that the property had not kept up with the times, which was disappointing. Another aspect that left a sour taste in my mouth was the long queuing time for check-in. It was frustrating to spend a significant amount of time waiting in line, especially after a tiring journey. The lack of efficiency and organization in the check-in process was a letdown and impacted the overall flow of my stay. On a slightly more positive note, I found the service provided by the staff to be acceptable. While it wasn't exceptional, the hotel staff members were generally courteous and willing to assist when needed. However, this alone could not make up for the other shortcomings I encountered during my stay. In conclusion, my experience at the Venetian Macao Hotel was far from satisfying. The persistent smoke odor in a non-smoking room, dated facilities, and long queuing time for check-in overshadowed the average service provided by the staff. Considering the reputation and expectations associated with the Venetian brand, I found this particular establishment to be lacking in several key areas. I would recommend exploring other options when choosing accommodations in Macao.

For me and my family, this was one of our favorite places when we stayed in Macao. The hotel is very big, who knows how many thousands of rooms there are. The rooms here are available in various types, and of course available in smoking or non-smoking rooms. You can make a request when ordering. For breakfast I suggest choosing the one at the Milan Ballroom, for me and my family this is the best breakfast place in the entire hotel. You must try and experience it yourself. At The Venetian itself we have to remember which tower we are staying in, because otherwise we will have difficulty returning to our room. The shops here on average open at 10 am and close at 10 pm. Children are not allowed to cross the road near the casino, but don't worry because there is special access for children (although this is a bit tricky). All the officers at this place are friendly and quick to take action, we will feel very pampered by them. The bathroom at this hotel is also complete with a shower, bathtub and two sinks. For the toilet, they have made a separate place inside the bathroom, so that odor and privacy are maintained. In the room there is a safe deposit box which is under the TV cupboard. One thing I noted, this hotel room has a design similar to those in Las Vegas. Lastly, you should book directly at this hotel, because you will get free late check out.

The Venetian Macao, a luxurious resort and casino situated in Macau, impresses with its grandeur and opulence. Boasting the title of the world's largest casino, it seamlessly combines entertainment, accommodation, and dining in a lavish setting. The Venetian's standout feature is its faithful recreation of Venice, complete with winding canals and gondola rides. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the stunning architecture to the intricately designed interiors. The spacious suites are elegantly appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The expansive casino floor is a haven for gaming enthusiasts, featuring a vast array of games and slot machines. Beyond gambling, the resort offers a diverse range of entertainment options, from live shows and concerts to high-end shopping along the Grand Canal Shoppes. Dining at The Venetian is a culinary journey, with an extensive selection of restaurants offering diverse cuisines. From fine dining establishments to casual eateries, there's something to suit every palate. Service at The Venetian Macao is top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring guests' needs are met promptly. The overall experience at this iconic resort is a testament to luxury and indulgence, making it a premier destination for those seeking an unforgettable stay in the vibrant city of Macau.

This was my second stay at The Venetian, Macao and it was almost as enjoyable as the first time. I got assigned a room in the North side, which was rather inconvenient and requires long walks to access everything. Highly recommended requesting a room in the South side. The room itself was fantastic. Still remains one of the best suites in a hotel I’ve stayed in (not that I’ve stayed in many …). Take a lift down and you’re by the food court. If you’re by the South lifts, you come out to a lovely store that sells delicious, soft serve ice cream. I was in the North, so I had to walk. The Venetian is also host to teamLabs SuperNature, and a 5 mins walk from the hotel lift is required. You can also walk to The Parisian and The Londoner through connected walkways, so you never have to step out onto the streets if you don’t want to. (Although it’s got a lovely outdoor bridge/path that will give you excellent views of The Venetian and The Parisian. Definitely photo worthy to walk through when it isn’t so hot). Similar to Hong Kong, I highly recommend visiting during the colder months to maximise enjoyment of everything The Venetian (and Parisian and Londoner) has to offer.

Stepping into the Venetian Macao felt like entering a grand palace of luxury and splendor. The sheer scale of the construction is awe-inspiring, leaving me mesmerized from the moment I arrived. The architectural marvel transports you to another world, reminiscent of the grandeur of Venice itself. Hospitality at the Venetian Macao is top-notch, with staff exuding warmth and professionalism at every turn. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a willingness to assist, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The rooms are impeccably clean and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the bustling city. Waking up to the panoramic views offered by the Venetian Macao was a highlight of my stay, offering a glimpse of the cityscape that never failed to captivate. Overall, my experience at the Venetian Macao surpassed all expectations. It's not just a hotel; it's a destination in itself, offering a perfect blend of luxury, hospitality, and breathtaking beauty. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Macao.

Everything is still top notch, luxurious, and 5 star experience-giving even after 14years since I first visited this hotel. The venetian canal and mall is still nice to walk around, shop, and dine. This also has connector to other hotels such as The Parisian Macao and Londoner Hotel. As for hotel stay experience, the room is very much spacious, carpeted, very comfy beds, has nice view from the room, secured (you need to tap your room key before entering the elevators, guarded 24/7) and of course, different amenities. For breakfast, Mcdonald and Starbucks are some of the options to buy bread and caffeine fix as early as 7am. Avoid malling during public holidays as the mall area gets really crowded. The wifi connectivity is secured and not flaky. You can even use it while walking around the vicinity. As a hotel guest, you have a free 28days of connectivity. Just two minor issues: 1. Smokey smell in the bathroom 2. Flaky airconditioning unit particularly at night (during our stay) I was not able to try the breakfast buffet and casino. Maybe next time :)
