Hey there! So, I'm a current student at HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College and I'm really bummed out about the lack of attention to our comfort and well-being. As a student, we spend most of my time in the lecture rooms, where we're stuck with the same uncomfortable desks and chairs for hours on end. (some lectures are for 3 hours)
I even brought it up with the school admin, hoping they'd do something about it. But, unfortunately, nothing's changed. Those chairs are still super uncomfortable, and it's like they're not even listening to us.
It's honestly pretty frustrating. We're students, not robots! We deserve to feel supported and comfortable in our learning environment. Instead, it feels like our needs are being neglected.
I really hope HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College starts taking student feedback seriously and makes some changes to improve our experience. Until then, I'll just have to deal with those awful chairs.

The teachers in this school are not dedicated or enthusiastic about teaching. (subjective) The subjects taught during lessons do not align with what is tested in exams. (subjective) The school provides GPAs but does not disclose assignment marks or comments. (objective) Uncomfortable chairs like Folding Tablet Arm chairs are used, causing neck pain. Despite requests for a change, the school replied that they are self-financed and may not be able to replace them. Each student pays a different course fee, with my course costing 59k for 1 year of study. (objective) Many teachers do not respond to emails promptly, if at all. (objective)
