Cotton tree drive is a beautiful start to the peak. The road is wide and a tad confusing where it starts and ends. It does lead up to the Peak and Magazine Gap rd also. It does get pretty full with traffic especially Friday evenings with the afternoon crowd going into central. There are many locations to UTurn if driving although the turns are a bit tight and difficult to master. Central Park is on right on the way up which is always a pleasant walk and access the park behold pacific place is also nice with the lake filled with turtles is great for the kids. There is also a few grocery stores as well as a service station on McDonald road near to the top. Many hotels also live aside of Cotton tree drive and the new office towers being build towards the bottom are quite spectacular. Can’t say there is much in terms of eateries except at Golden building right at the bottom of the hill. Pacific place is nearby so you can basically get anything you need. As for hikers the road starts of easy but does get steeper the further you go up so be prepared...
