Love Stories Museum — Attraction in Dubrovnik

Amazing place! I have came across it entirely accidentally, but literally fall in love with it. I have learn so much about the Croatian history and culture through the stories presented in Love Stories Museum. I also loved the creative idea with creating your own 'love letter' on the top floor of the building. You could really 'feel the love in the air' there! I definitely need to come back!

The only reason why I didn't give all the 5 stars is that I was missing one aspect of love, that is: self-love from where it all begins. In today's world practically all the music and movies focus on the romantic relationship between 2 people, but there is not much that talks about how to self-love... Of course is not to say to be selfish and not to love others, but also to remember to nurture the relationship we have with ourselves, where I believe it all begins. Hence, I wish there was a separate room designated for this form of love...

I have visited this museum during my 3 day stay in dubrovnik after reading all the positive reviews on here. I approached carefully because in some other museums hosts have been a bit rude to me for not speaking croatian, but here, as soon as i entered the museum, the very kind owner welcomed me inside, told me about the story of the museum, it’s purpose and whats inside, even giving me free candy and a fan to cool myself. All 3 floors were very well put together, the stories both in beautiful english and croatian, the objects and the love stories connected to them really made me emotional. the movie quotes and music inspirations were very interesting too! on the top floor you can write love messages or wishes on heart shaped post its and put them on the wall, its lovely!!!
