We did the Game of Thrones Tour at the end of August with Zoran. It was really spectacular. It was very hot the day we went and Zoran took special care to find us shade when he would tell es about the tour. We had a really big group but he tried to attend to everyone and answer everyone's questions. The Game of Thrones aspect of the tour is very cool and the tour company has all of the inside details. Zoran was also incredibly personable and talked a lot about the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia in general (not just GOT stuff). He lived through the beginning of the last Balkans war as a child, so he has a unique perspective on the conflict and was really open to speak about it. He also provided recommendations of other cool things to do in the surrounding areas of Dubrovnik. Though I was there for the GOT tour, the best part was hearing stories and perspectives from someone native not only to Croatia, but to Dubrovnik area specifically (many people who work in Tourism in Dubrovnik are from other parts of Croatia, Bosnia, etc...very few natives). Highly recommend the tour--definitely worth the 20 EUR/25 USD...you won't get all of the richness of details if you try to tour Dubrovnik...
Read moreI did this GOT tour on holiday after seeing their excellent reviews. I run my own film sites your too (Harry Potter Oxford film sites), so I am always keen to see other tours. I think my guide's name was Duje. My feedback advice for the guide is that I didn't feel you checked adequately whether or not folks at back of tour were able to avoid getting lost in the crowded streets as you moved from one location to next. I'd do head count at start and check it again at each stop plus pause periodically after passing through eg a junction or crossing another busy street. In addition when guiding, make sure to ask folks to form a semi circle around you, when you are showing them your poster images of location scenes introduced. You had to spend twice as much time showing the images and it means only 2/3 of group of maybe 30 persons can hear what you are saying. Otherwise thanks for a great tour. Sincerely,...
Read moreThe tour was interesting, providing views of many scenes from GoT. The guide was well-informed and easy to understand, and had a book of scenes from various seasons, which she used to compare real life with the show. The majority of the tour takes place in the St. Lawerence Fort, which was an extra fee (not included). As great as the views of the main town were from the fort, I would have liked to see more of the scenes inside the town. On the other hand, given how crowded the town was, perhaps the balance was appropriate. At the end of the tour we got to sit on the "Iron Throne" and take some photos. A very...
