October 2025 We stayed at Miro Studio Apartment during our visit and found it to be a functional but underwhelming base for exploring the city. The apartment is centrally located, within walking distance to all major sites — a definite plus for sightseeing. Our room (#6) had a nice view from the window, and check-in was smooth thanks to the clear instructions provided for arrivals outside of office hours. While they do offer to arrange airport transportation, you can easily do this yourself using the Uber app, which worked well for us. Communication via WhatsApp is the only way to reach staff, but responses were often delayed, especially outside their limited office hours of 9 AM to 1 PM. There’s a luggage storage room on the main floor, which was especially helpful since checkout is at 10 AM — a full six hours before our flight departure. Inside, the apartment felt dark. The couch was old which detracted from the overall comfort. The Murphy-style bed was surprisingly comfortable, though only two pillows were provided on the first day. Two additional small pillows were added on the second day. One caution: the corner of the bed is a trip hazard, so be mindful when moving around. The apartment is fully furnished with a mini kitchen, a 32" flat-screen TV, a couch, and a table with two chairs. A mini fridge and in-room safe were also available. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Hair dryer was provided for use. Toiletries included bars of soap, a combined shower gel and shampoo, shower caps, and a small sewing kit. However, there was no hair conditioner, which we knew in advance. The bathroom sink lacked countertop space, making it tricky to organize toiletries. There was also no facial tissue provided and no toilet paper holder. The TV is located in the adjacent room and doesn’t swivel enough to be viewed from the bed. It only offers two preloaded streaming apps — Netflix and YouTube. Unfortunately, the Netflix app didn’t work at all and froze the screen during use. No traditional TV channels were available. The room was warmer than ideal, and there’s no air conditioning. Some lights didn’t work, and the hot water ran out quickly, even with just two of us using it. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a walk-up building — no elevator. With 14 stair steps between each floor, it’s a challenge if you’re carrying heavy luggage. While the location and water pressure were solid, the overall ambiance and condition of the furnishings left much to be desired. If you're traveling light and prioritizing proximity over comfort, Miro Studio Apartment might work — but it wasn’t quite the cozy retreat we’d hoped for. Bon Séjour 😐

What a splendid place to stay! From the moment I booked the communication was excellent. They helped me book a driver from the airport and provide exact directions to the property. The location is incredible! From where your taxi drops you off, it is literally down a flight of stairs then a few steps on a sidewalk. It is so easy and no problem to handle your luggage on the sidewalk. You will be able to walk to everything and the hosts will give you lots of great suggestions. There are 7 apartments all are very well designed and immaculately maintained. Not a spot of dust! We were lucky to get apartments #6 with a view of a beautiful cove and the fort above. Such a cool view! Apartments have a full kitchen. We didn’t cook as there are too many great restaurants within 5 minutes walking. But having fridge for snacks and keeping water cold was great. Air conditioner was perfect! It was so nice to come back to a cool room after being in the summer heat. The two women I interacted with who run the place are so lovely and friendly. They were so welcoming, it was overall an incredible stay. I cannot say enough nice things- we are so happy with our experience.

*Miro Studio Apartment* is very good overall. Location - There are stairs to access the apartment as this is in Old Town; well it is not too bad at all if you don’t have mobility issues. Beware, there is no elevator inside the apartment, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs if your unit is not on the first floor. Location is superb; beautiful views of the Old West Harbor and the Fort are just right around the corner, plus, bus stop, taxi stand and small grocery store are just across the street. Service 5/5 - checkin instructions were clear, and communication was responsive and friendly . Room 5/5 - clean and cozy! A well equipped kitchen was especially helpful! Great value! Will definitely recommend to others. Improvements: 1) quite cold to shower without shower door, 2) would be better to use light comforter than thin blanket sheets.
