Gradac Park — Attraction in Dubrovnik

Gradac Park is a serene, tree-lined park located on a hill just west of Dubrovnik’s Old Town in Croatia. For any tourist tired of the crowding near the city gate, this park offers a respite only a 10 minute walk away. When I was there, it was virtually deserted apart from a few locals, yet it offers great views and plenty of shade.

The park itself is nothing special - a small water pool, some faux roman ruins and plenty of shade - but a nice place to relax.

Come for the views. Stay for the insightful murals. Dubrovnik visitors risk missing this gem if they don’t try hard enough. The bluff overlooks a stellar “beach,” while the trails offer endless spots to open a book and read the day away amid Dubrovnik’s typically magical backdrops. Each winding path offers a different surprise. Or walk down to the beach for a swim in the sea....
