Viru Keskus — Attraction in Tallinn

Viru Keskus is a classy, neat shopping center where also high end fashion brand stores can be find among other brand chain stores.

In the underground bottom floor there's a supermarket with a wide range of products to choose from if you're looking for something more special.

Even if it's not any typical delicatessen place, it's possible to find eg special softdrinks with lovely natural ingredients and flavours, free from preservatives.

I haven't tried the Food Hall yet but it looks really inviting with all kind of restaurants on different themes and different interior styles, side by side in the hall.

I think it looks pretty good and much nicer than the ordinary kind of food halls, a classy, relaxed restaurant atmosphere in the absolute city center.

I'm looking forward visiting it some day when I'm Tallinn, exploring yummy food places offering glutenfree options with minimal contamination risk.

May 2024, please note, the Tallinn city centre is undergoing huge street works and I don't know for how long!

There are construction sites almost everywhere and the Viru Keskus is not an exception so stay patient, watch your step, be careful when cruising the totally messy streets.

The entrance to Viru Keskus from the park side looks free from street works and construction sites, so it can be an easier way to access the shopping mall.

I find the shopping centre being a nice place, roaming and exploring both for shopping and having a coffee break in any of the classy cafeterias or maybe a lunch break!

Normally I'm not so found of shopping malls but Viru Keskus is a more atmospheric, relaxed space than the typical busy...

Very good place to go shopping. Kaubamaja has a good selection of make up with reasonable prices. Also the parfume area is big with a variety to try from. Client Service is very friendly and helpful :D Grocery store on the 0 floor offer extremely good selection - usually the things you are trying to find and have not managed, you can find here. Definately recommend the bakery section.
