Currently undergoing a modernization refresh. Will be sad to see the original 90's graphics and branding replaced, not to mention people pay a lot for nostalgia. There are lots of walls up while they undertake this task, makes it a bit more awkward to navigate but nothing too serious.
Starbucks was great for my morning coffee, kind staff, made the drinks really well.
Large lack of variety in the shops at the Village, it's the same merchandise repeated time and time over in every single shop at Disneyland, both the studios and the main park. If you are familiar with Disney Springs, remove that comparison as you will be sorely disappointed. There is nowhere near enough to do in the Village when compared with Springs.
Annette's Diner is ok. The food quality and portion sizes have changed considerably since my last visit in 2019. The hash browns used to be long and you'd get around 12, now you get 6 and they are circular and tiny! Shame as I had said how good they were to friends only to receive something subpar. Some of the staff can be quite rude.
The Lego store has some amazing large scale Disney creations but sadly no Disneyland exclusive sets - missed a trick with this one. The staff are nice here.
Disney Gallery is now very limited with the art and seemingly smaller than it was when I last visited (2019). Lots of the art I remember being on the walls is no longer there.
Disney Fashion is limited, most clothes with fun or interesting designs are in kids sizes, with the highest size being 12A. The "make your own" machine was overpriced, with an adult zip up hoodie coming in at around 60 euros for the base if I am recalling correctly - you then get charged another 15 euros if you want to print or embroider a very limited selection of Disney or Marvel characters onto it. Very slim pickings.
New York Style Sandwiches was a late night pit stop for me, they sell pasta, mickey shaped pizza, side salad with french dressing, hot dogs, sandwiches, fish and chips, along with some other things. Friendly staff, clean, I liked it here.
Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show is no more, I had always enjoyed that show and it will be missed.
Planet Hollywood is closed permanantly.
They have a movie theatre here, I don't think I have seen many people in there.
The World of Disney is the biggest store they have at the village, possibly in the whole of DLP. I was disappointed to see a lack of Frozen, Cars, Dalmatians and varied Lion King merchandise (considering The Lion King turns 30 this year) this is the same throughout the rest of DLP for me. If you don't like these movies, you won't feel like you've missed out. There is a LOT of Stitch merch, he is the flavour of the year, so be prepared to see him plastered on everything.
You can ride a hot air balloon here, unsure of the cost or running times.
McDonald's is also located here.
All in all, just ok. I suppose I expected more since my last visit but was greeted with walls, closed buildings and shows...

Read moreDuring my recent visit to Disneyland Paris for the Olympics, I spent some time exploring Disney Village, and it was a great addition to the overall experience! The village is a vibrant hub of activity, perfect for unwinding after a day in the parks or catching the excitement of the Olympics on big screens in a lively setting.
One of the standout features of Disney Village is the variety of dining options available. Whether you’re looking for a quick and familiar meal at McDonald’s or a more themed dining experience like Annette’s Diner or the Rainforest Cafe, there’s something for everyone. The range of restaurants made it easy to find a spot to eat, no matter the time of day, which was particularly convenient with all the Olympic events going on.
Shopping in Disney Village was also a highlight, with stores packed with Disney-themed merchandise and unique souvenirs. It was the perfect place to pick up a few keepsakes from my trip, and I found the variety impressive, with something for every budget.
For travelers, especially during big events like the Olympics, I’d recommend visiting Disney Village in the evening when it’s a bit cooler and the atmosphere is even more lively. If you’re planning to dine at one of the popular restaurants, making a reservation ahead of time can save you a long wait, as it gets quite busy. The McDonald’s is a solid option for a quick, affordable meal if you’re on the go, and the convenience can’t be beaten, especially when managing a busy schedule.
Another tip: take some time to explore the village after dark. The lights and the energy of the place make for a magical atmosphere that’s perfect for capturing those unforgettable...
