The "Apple of love" is one of the most remarkable and interesting creations of Zurab Tsereteli, the height of the apple is 9 meters. Inside the apple bronze sculptural scenes from the myths of peoples of the world, symbolizing the origin of life. Visitors can trace the history of human passions from the Fall, the transition of the first man and woman from a state of innocent obedience to God to a state of guilty disobedience. The eroticism of some of these scenes, including those reminiscent of ancient legends, depicted in the sculptural reliefs of some ancient Indian temples, should not be misleading. It does not have a self sufficient character, but it is connected with the general concept of the emergence and development of life, proceeding from its inception to the highest spiritual peaks.

You can not even imagine that this place is in the middle of Rustaveli Avenue. It’s located behind the Moma Gallery. The person who made this sculptor is called Zurab Tsereteli, a well known Georgian artist. This Rotonda-style huge structure is 9 meters high and it comprises 145 sculpture both inside and out. You can see the golden stars on the ceiling and naked people on the walls. The structure itself is a mini version of the big one and is in the yard of the museum. Zurab is also known for St. George’s monument on Freedom Square. The sculpture is called “Apple of Love”

The "Apple of Love" monument, located in the heart of Tbilisi, Georgia, is a captivating symbol of romance and local culture. The monument features a large apple with a heart-shaped design, serving as a contemporary and whimsical piece of public art. The area around the monument is generally pleasant, with nearby cafes and shops making it a convenient stop while exploring the city. However, some might find the monument's design a bit kitschy compared to more classical or historical sites in Tbilisi.
