Review concerning the roof garden café on 10th floor. After getting 2 simple coffees and a dessert for a quite steep price of 15,30€ (which is not justified by the ambience of food court or the service - it's a self-service café) we returned, as we ought to do, our tray with empty plate and cups along with the receipt. No-one informed us that the receipt is required in order to enter the restroom. When we reached there, two ladies told us we're not allowed to use it, because it's reserved for customers only and wouldn't even listen to us. Mind you, another customer found their behaviour so unreasonable and mean (his word, not mine) that passed his own receipt to my husband. That caused a horrendous reaction from the two ladies who started protesting that this was not allowed. We thanked the gentleman, selected however not to enter their precious toilets to avoid causing a scene. This was a bad experience. And it was crowned by a terrible stomachache that dessert gave me for a good 7 hours after consuming it. That café feels like a tourist trap. And please don't say "oh, such places are there in every tourist destination" (I wouldn't go so far as to characterise Athens as a European capital). For example, when one decides to have a café in Galeries Lafayette in Paris, they can enjoy the haussmannian architecture, super kind service and quality products in better prices. And they're allowed to visit the...
Read moreAbout a month ago I bought a pair of pants along with several other items (more than 600euros in total). I wore them ONCE during a work trip and the pants started falling off me while I was walking. I decided since I paid 60 euros for them, to change them and at least get a refund or exchange. I went to the 9th floor, where they told me I should speak with the management and I should go all the way down to the reception, which I did. I spoke with a lady named Zarxani Maria, who was totally unhelpful and also tried to convince me that I had worn the pants more than once -because of the wrinkles on the pants, which as I tried to explain more than once was due to bad folding- and then when I was not being persuaded about the truth which is that I NEVER WORE the pants more than once -I couldn’t even if I wanted to since they started falling off-, she claimed that I WAS SOLD the wrong number and I should have bought a size smaller. When I said that I tried the pants and they fitted just fine, she questioned whether I had an opinion of my own or I just bought whatever THEY SOLD ME. That’s a customer service I wonder?! Doubting the truth about a pair of pants and questioning my reliability and opinion of my own? That has been THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever received, especially in a place where I paid lots of my money and was planning to make more shopping. Now, you can rest assured that all I have to say...
Read moreThe only polite and nice person in this shopping center was the lady right at the entrance checking people's body temperature for covid before welcoming them in. The rest of the sales people(all ladies by the way) seem too aggressive and unpleasant!! Especially the ladies/staff at the rooftop Cafe! The view up there is nice but the food is of cheap quality, untidy with no price tags and eventually when you pay, you realize how overpriced it is! There are much nicer places around the square where you can sit indoor and have a meal at a decent price. We were up there at the Cafe at 8 pm in October, there were hardly any other guests at the Cafe except us. The Cafe had 6-7 ladies as waitresses (which seemed pretty overstaffed) and still none bothered cleaning the dirty tables or paying attention to the customers' (our) needs. When asking them questions about where to find cutlery or drinks, they seemed uninterested in showing any direction. I guess they just enjoyed gathering together in a corner chit-chating, gossiping and idling around. Especially one of them wearing cat-eye glasses who was extremely rude to my husband. Our recommendation: Just go up there for the view and some pictures, then skip the dirty gross Cafe and the mess with its...
