Kali Orexi is a cozy, welcoming spot with authentic flavors. The owners moved from Syria 30 years ago, bringing their culinary heritage. Arrived in Omonia Square and needed food, fast. What a wonderful find this place is. Asked the absolutely lovely, friendly staff for their recommendation and went away with the most generous gyro full of tender beef pieces, salad and all manner of who-knows-what sauces and it was absolutely delicious. Ordered fries as well (it really didn't need them - I was being greedy) and two cans of soft drink all for only €10. A lovely couple runs this place — very kind, welcoming, and always smiling. They even shared a bit of the shop story with us, which made the experience even warmer. The food is excellent and super clean. The beef kebab on the spit is absolutely delicious, and you can tell the meat is homemade. The sauces are all house-made too — the spicy one is incredible! We also tried Lahmacun as a sandwich for the first time, and it was such a cool idea: you can add sauces and fresh veggies inside, and it tastes amazing. Definitely...
