Oria Art Gallery — Attraction in Municipality of Thira

Myself and my partner found ourselves taking refuge from the heat unknowingly in this art gallery. Nikos came to see us as we realised and told us to stay in the shade as long as we needed to recover and if we needed water to let him know and that he hoped we have a nice day - no selling, no pushing for us to look at anything, simply being a nice person.

We came back to say thank you the following day and embarked on a great conversation about the UK, Wales, Santorini and travelling the world. And in doing so we discovered his beautiful artwork. In the end, Nikos was so lovely we simply had to look around at his work and talk about them with him.

We went in by accident, but we left with a beautiful painting for the beautiful memory that Nikos helped create. He handed over the painting and said "you are both nice people" with a big smile, and frankly it made my day and we were only too happy to hang his work up in our home and...

We purchased our first panorama of Santorini a few years back at the gallery. LOVE IT!! The black & white with a splash of color. Hangs proudly over out mantle, a gorgeous piece.

Moved all of our Greek pottery to Florida this year for retirement & decided to continue the theme in the Master Bedroom Suite & bath. We ordered 3 more pictures and Nick was kind enough to send a complimentary one also! Very generous of him. As a matter of fact, we framed that one for a wall in our living room!

At the gallery / frame shop ( high end - Boca Raton), everyone was complimenting the photos. We cant wait to see them framed & hung! Nice man, VERY good website, and it only too 2 weeks to ship to US

Oria Gallery is a must place to visit in Oia. Very beautiful gallery, with amazing artworks printed on canvas. The first time I visited the gallery, many years ago, I fell in love with the artworks and the views of the island. Nikos Rigopoulos, the owner, apart from an excellent photographer with a quite unique point of view, is also a very nice and interesting person. He has travelled all over the world and when you see his photos feels like you 've been there. One of my favourite photos is a bicycle from India.
