Our stay at Luxus VIP suites was beyond amazing! From the moment we arrived to Santorini, the staff from Luxux VIP suites was very helpful and welcoming. We scheduled pickup services from the airport. They were on time and helped us with our luggage. When we arrived at our suite, it was breath taking. Unbelievable stunning views from our balcony and the suite was gorgeous. Large space inside and in our balcony area. Very clean, good size bathroom, great outdoor hot tub area overlooking the stunning views. Every morning we had a delicious large breakfast brought over to our room. We were able to pick from a menu what we wanted each morning and the time we wanted our breakfast. Our outdoor hot tub and room were cleaned every day-great service. Another amazing aspect of our stay was our very helpful/ kind host Natasha. She made our stay even better. She helped us with any asks we had about our suite and also helped us plan our trip. She made reservations to restaurants, boat excursions, horse riding, etc. She is the best! We definitely recommend staying at Luxus VIP suites. When we go back to Oia, we will be staying here again for the amazing/convenient location, stunning views from the suite, spectacular service provided - such as delicious daily breakfast, cleanliness of the suite, and the undivided attention/help we received from our wonderful host Natasha. We booked three rooms for two nights at Luxus VIP Suites back in October 2024. We have been looking forward to our visit for 8 months. We were supposed to travel from Mykonos to Santorini today to begin our stay at Luxus VIP Suites this afternoon. The hotel charged us the full amount of our stay last week (over $4,000).||Today, we awoke to an email canceling all ferries from Mykonos to Santorini. There are 35 mile per hour winds, with gusts of 50 miles per hour, and no ferries are operating today. We tried to switch from ferry to flights, but there is nothing available. The forecast for tomorrow looks the same as today’s. There is NO possible way for us to get to Santorini. |Luxus VIP Suites is unwilling to provide us with even a partial refund, despite there being ZERO means of getting there. Literally no form of transportation to Santorini is available to us or anyone. Perhaps they expect us to swim. It’s beyond disappointing that we will not be able to experience the beauty of Santorini during our vacation, and Luxus VIP Suites keeping the full $4,000+ for providing no services or accommodations only adds to our frustration. ||We recognize that Luxus VIP Suites can’t control the weather, but neither can we. I’ve always been curious about staying in a ‘cave hotel’ever since seeing them featured in a 1982 movie called ‘Summer Lovers’, which was probably responsible for putting Santorini on the radar of travelers everywhere since then. My wife and I had a really amazing stay at Luxus VIP Suites, which is probably the best cave suite that you'll ever find on the island in terms of location and service. Our room directly overlooked the picturesque blue domes of the two most famous and often-photographed churches in Santorini’s Oia district as well as the azure waters of the mediterranean sea. The location of Luxus is simply unbeatable. I recommend getting a room with your own private hot tub and outdoor deck chair area,which really adds to the richness of the experience. Vagelis  (the owner of Luxus, who is a very warm, down-to-earth, and kind fellow) and his amazing team did an absolutely outstanding job making sure that my wife and I had a wonderful stay. His hard-working, efficient, and totally customer-focused assistant Anastasia was always on hand to ensure that all our needs were met ona daily basis. Some people keep going back to Santorini year after year to recapture that special magic that made them go there for the very first time.Now I understand fully why that is.
