After reading several positive reviews, we opted to try out this burger joint. Initially, the exterior didn't make much of an impression, but stepping inside revealed a surprisingly cozy shop. Despite the language barrier the staff were kind and helpful although it was somewhat challenging to clarify our order. The menu, cluttered with fries, drinks, burgers, and extras, made it hard to figure out the final charges. Consequently, we ended up paying 14,410HUF (€39) for a Sloppy Joe burger (Angus - which costs extra apparently) with fries and a refillable drink, and a Veggie Mega-Vega Burger with the same sides. Also dips were supposed to be included with the order but we got charged for those.
While queuing, we observed the kitchen finding it clean but notably busy. Despite the shop not being busy at the time, there was a constant flow of people in and out, raising concerns about cleanliness standards. We went ahead and placed our order, and moved to the first floor in anticipation of our burgers. When they arrived within 10 - 15 minutes, they looked visually appealing, as seen in the pictures. The burger was properly cooked, tasted OK and sized appropriately by European standards for an American fast food. However, the bun was cold, and though the fries were very tasty, the portion size was disappointingly small.
Considering the location, the prices seemed fair, but the overall experience, along with the portion size and taste, made it feel quite overpriced for two people.
Unfortunately, both of us suffered stomach pains and were confined to bed for 24 hours straight, suggesting a possible mild food poisoning. This significantly marred our entire experience.

Read moreReally upset that I unknowingly ‘upgraded’ to Angus beef. The cashier asked me “Angus beef ok?” And I thought there was a plant based option and yeah, I want beef patty in my burger so I said “ok”. She did not mention that there would be extra charge and I did not notice until I got the receipt but it was too late since they started cooking.
I also asked her to “make it a meal” but her English wasn’t that good and she didn’t understand and I didn’t know you were able to choose other fries options like sweet potato fries/ onion rings. It was only after when overhearing what another cashier said.
Burger bun was also hard and the burger was covered in some dark sauce that overpowered everything. Fries were also SO salty. I couldn’t finish.

Read moreThe burgers are ok but nothing exceptional. What struck me was the attitude of the person taking orders. We had just ordered and I asked at the same moment - "if it's possible, can I have the protein version (no buns, only salad)?" The girl looked at me so badly I felt like I'm asking her to move the entire country and find me that salad... Silence for 30 seconds with that stare of hers and I started apologizing and saying how it's not at all necessary and she can forget that I've asked. Anyway, she asked the person who's at the grill for the change of order (who is 2.5 steps away) and I got my protein version of the veggie burger. To add to the context, it wasn't a busy time of the day, 2 people before us and no one...
