Visited this restaurant twice. The first time, I tried their goulash and chicken paprika - both were pretty ordinary, and I left feeling slightly disappointed 🫤 As I was leaving, the waiter asked me for a 5-star review, but honestly, the food didn’t feel deserving of it.
Decided to give the restaurant a second chance as a friend later told me that the beef stew was nice. This time, the dish was indeed delicious, and I wasn’t disappointed. However, the service fell short. Seconds after I took my last bite, the waiter immediately brought the bill and payment terminal. Felt like I was being hurried off (and the restaurant wasn’t even full at that point!). Noticed that I didn’t get the same level of service as those at the other tables and I’m not sure why. (Because I’m Asian? Young? Dined alone? 🤷🏻♀️) but the difference in treatment felt too obvious
Also worth noting: they inflate their ratings by actively asking for 5-star reviews. So if you do visit, it might be best to keep your expectations in check.
EDIT: didn’t give a bad rating at first, but after reading the response from the owner, decided to change my rating to a 1. Was specifically asked for a 5-star review by your waiter, and so saying that it is “nonsense” is not only rude but also a lie. Other reviewers report the same thing being asked of them, and so I am not the only one:) No idea why I even gave this restaurant a second chance. Food quality can never make up for...
Read moreWent here due to the Google ratings and it unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations.
Ordered the sausauge platter as an entree. The waitress had warned me in advance that it wasn't full sausages, but for the price I didn't expect this. There was nothing special about this and I wouldn't recommend it.
For the main, I got the beef stew due to the reviews here. It was very disappointing. I was very salty which I suspect masked the flavor of the dish because it was so overpowering. There were mushrooms and a chill that were part of the dish.
Can't complain about the service, it was great. Location for this restaurant is great, and it appeals to tourists. Based on my experience though, the value here is highly overpriced.
To suggested that I didn't like it because I am Indian, and that this is normal food, and to "think twice" about it being overpriced was a stretch from the owner. I suppose I can't have an opinion if I sit and dine at this restaurant for being a tourist. We have eaten a great amount of Hungarian food for the time we were in Budapest. My review is based upon my honest feedback, and based upon the numerous world cuisines I have eaten. I hope there is greater focus on professionalism and a more customer focused approach from Parisi 6...
Read moreThis was bad. The waiter got one of our orders wrong (the side was a very bad salad) and spilled a part of my drink, it was also quite pricey for the portions. The beef tartare was great, that's the only reason food isn't 1 star. If you come here with kids its also a bad place, there's absolutely nothing for them. The wait time was also really long.
Edit: I shouldn't have checked other reviews. I gave service 3 stars, but now i reduced it to one. Why, you may ask, it's because how they respond to reviews, they always get outraged if you say anything bad about this place, there is no "We're sorry for the inconvenience", and that's why.
Edit number 2: The more I read bad reviews responses the worse it gets. I didn't want to give this place 1 star, but the responds are absolutely outrageous. The manager is as ignorant as one can get, and never, ever apologizes for anything. I can't believe the sheer rudeness of him. I hope this place doesn't stay on the "top rated" category, unless the manager learns how to deal with bad reviews.
Edit 3: Edit number 2 isn't number 3....
