During my holiday in Ubud—my first time in Bali—I discovered Tukies Coconut Bar, and ended up visiting more than once. This place is a gem. Every visit, I was served a cold, fresh coconut with a straw, just the way it should be. The staff is warm and welcoming, especially Agus, who speaks English well, which made communication easy and enjoyable. There’s a small outdoor table right on the path—it’s the only one—but it turned out to be the perfect spot to sit and relax with a friend, soak in the vibe, and enjoy our drinks. Not exaggerating when I say this was the best coconut ice cream of my life — so fresh, creamy, and delicious. We got the one with chocolate brownie, and it was absolutely heavenly.
We also tried a mango float with coconut ice cream on top, which was nice, but honestly, I’d just recommend going straight for the coconut ice cream scoops — they’re a must-try. Their coconut water was refreshing too.
