My family of 3 stayed for 4 nights at its Deluxe Room 313. We were warmly welcome by the reception staff. The welcome drink, Limau Basil was amazingly refreshing. The hotel staff were very professional in showing us the hotel facilities before bringing us to our deluxe room. The hotel had 2 restaurants, a rooftop area for tea, 2 swimming pools and a gym. It is very clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprise to receive a personalised welcome note from the hotel manager on our bed! These extra touches reflected the sincerity and good effort put in by the hotel to make her guest feel at home and very welcome.

We were very happy with our room as it is spacious and the toilet has separate shower and bath tub with strong hot/cold water pressure. The hotel has also generously provided aromatic toiletries, mosquito repellent spray and 3 sets of everything for us. The wifi is strong inside our room and also common areas.

We were pleasantly overwhelmed by the service of the hotel staff especially with the restaurant staff Wulan, Arianti, Surdiana, Antari and trainees. They are always smiling, very polite and will always try to accomodate our request. They were able to recommend good meal courses from the menu, introduce the complimentary balinese snacks we had during teatime and were confident in making conversations with the guests. The reception staff (Wiratini, Wayan) were also always ready with their smiles and morning greeting everyday - Bali best!

Breakfast at the hotel was amazing good too - great variety of goumet food, customised and cooked to order, warm and delicious food. We have enjoyed the hotel breakfast every day - Bali best!

We had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant as there was daily live band and 2 menus for local and western food. We were very happy that the hotel gave us the flexibility to have our complimentary lunch taken at dinner. Unlike other restaurants, complimentary crackers were served with the best balinese sambal while drinking and waiting for our main course. We had our other dinners at the close by Cinta Restaurant which serve the best pork ribs!

To sum up, Ubud Village Hotel is a hotel with great location along JL Monkey Forest - walking distance to amenities and tourist attraction (art market, palace, lotus garden, monkey forest and cat cafe). Keep up the good job, Gustra and team and many thanks for making my Bali...

Stayed for 3 nights as my second spot in Bali at Ubud Village. We were a group of 4 people, 2 adults and 2 kids. First of all, this is a beautifully designed hotel that has the right mix of modern and contemporary style.

Location: Around a kilometer from the Monkey Forest and 700 meters from Ubud Palace, the location of this hotel is perfect. There are a lot of cafes, clubs, and shopping areas nearby. Most of the Ubud spots like rice fields, Ubud Palace, and the Monkey Forest are close by. Even MMart, which is a small retail chain, is opposite this hotel. Perfect location indeed.

Check-in: I arrived an hour earlier with my family as the original check-in time was 2 pm. Despite mentioning my request for an early check-in, the room was not ready. We utilized this time by having lunch at the hotel. A tip for the hotel management: if a family is with kids, they can offer the room slightly early.

Rooms: Great big room with a big bathroom, which is very rare in hotels. There were 1 large bed and 1 single bed in the room, along with a couch and a study table. There were a lot of wardrobes to store our belongings. Overall, 5/5 for the room, which was big, had all amenities, and a big bathroom. The view from the room was of the back side, but I have no complaints about that.

Food and breakfast: I had one meal at the hotel, but the options were quite less compared to other restaurants in the vicinity. Also, the food was just okay. Breakfast was an a la carte affair with a fixed menu, with breads on the buffet. Limited options, but a great way to save food wastage. The icing on the cake was the sunset tea at 4 pm, which was included in the package.

I found this hotel to be high on sustainability, as they have tried to save the environment by doing little things like providing slippers and refillable bottles. However, this should not come at the cost of guest convenience.

Staff: Super helpful and good at hospitality. Always smiling.

Overall, I really liked the way they have designed the entire ambiance, with 2 pools and other amenities. Highly...

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Ubud Village for 15 unforgettable nights, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and special. Our room—#116—was an unexpected delight. Spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out, it featured a large bathroom separated from the bedroom by a sleek glass wall, adding both style and comfort.||One of our favorite parts was the private balcony located just above the restaurant, where we enjoyed fresh, homemade breakfasts every morning. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, including traditional Indonesian dishes like Nasi Goreng and one of the best lattes we’ve ever tasted—rich, aromatic, and satisfying.||Cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional. Every space, from the rooms to the pool area, was impeccably maintained. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed.||As a thoughtful touch before our departure, the staff offered us a complimentary Balinese massage at the on-site spa, which was a perfect and relaxing way to end our stay.||The entire team at Ubud Village was outstanding—friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. Their warmth and professionalism created a unique atmosphere that made us feel like more than just guests.||Located in the heart of Ubud, the hotel is ideally positioned for exploring the area, yet it still offers a serene, peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. We’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and this one truly stands out for its quality, charm, and hospitality.||We wholeheartedly recommend Ubud Village to future guests and are already looking forward to returning. It’s a special place where you’ll feel cared for and completely at home.||The guests:...

My wife and I booked to stay here for 7 nights as part of a multi destination honeymoon and it was truly wonderful. The staff are all amazing, by far the most courteous and accommodating team of staff I have ever encountered anywhere I have ever stayed. They cannot do enough to make your stay perfect, all very welcoming, friendly and polite. The rooms and hotel in general are stunning, very spacious and you feel luxury alongside a very natural and fitting Bali experience. Breakfast is amazing, made to order and the kind team here made my requested 6 eggs each morning as I am a bodybuilder and require more calories than most, which I much appreciated. Location is fantastic right in the heart of the prime of Ubud, you will not be disappointed with this location trust me. How anyone could have anything bad to say about this hotel is beyond me, it was truly a beautiful experience and stay. * Gym pics attached for anyone else out there curious and serious about their fitness. I struggled to find gym pics for this hotel prior to going which was a bit of a concern at the time but I'm happy to say that although it wasn't the most well equipped gym I've ever seen at a hotel, it was sufficient to get the job done with some cardio bits, dumbells and a little cable multi gym.

Feeling a bit mixed about hotel. The good first. Room was clean and awesome location being in the heart of Ubud. Breakfast was a rotating menu giving you different options each day. Afternoon tea upstairs was really good. The not so good It’s quite a large hotel so it loses a bit in that aspect. With heavy rain outside our room somehow the water was hitting something splashing it across the floor and increasing the sound of the rain which woke me at night (I love the sound of rain, this was like a full blast shower next to your bed sound). The internet was patchy and not that good. We had airport transfers there and back, on way after long flight, our driver (bless him) just wanted to talk and practice his English. Made a bit of a stressful drive, on way back to airport, broken seat belts and no water to drink. About Ubud. Have read the taxi complaint with Ubud and honestly you negotiate a price with a driver scattered every few feet along the road. If you don’t like price, don’t go. Love the local drivers as they are a wealth of knowledge and respect the area for protecting their locals. Overall, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed staying here, but happy to try a different hotel when we return.
