Museo della Misericordia di Firenze — Attraction in Florence

We were shown around this fascinating little museum by a woman who is part of the misericordia. It is basically two things in one - first a sample of donations made to the order, and secondly a potted history of the misericordia. It was very interesting to see the religious imagery alongside the advances in medical assistance. Museo que está ubicado justo en frente del Duomo de Santa Maria en la Pl del Duomo. Inicialmente compré mi entrada para el Duomo con guía en español a través de la app "Get Your Guide" y me incluía también una visita gratuita al Museo de la Misericordia. Me gustaría destacar por encima de todo el amabilísimo trato recibido por parte del recepcionista y la mujer que me fue explicando en italiano durante todo el recorrido (me dio a escoger entre hacerme el tour en inglés o italiano). La entendí perfectamente y gracias a ella logré captar la esencia de La Misericordia y sus siete actividades. Contestaba muy amablemente a todas mis preguntas y se portó excepcionalmente bien conmigo, muchas gracias, nunca lo olvidaré.
