Kyoto Hana Hotel — Hotel in Kyoto

I would not reserve this hotel for the rooms and services. Noisy place, noise in the room from both the corridor and the street - the window nor the doors are isolating sounds enough. The window in my room was not possible to open and the view was straight to a wall of neighbour building. The bathroom is old and the breakfast is only average. Use of washing machine was 20% more expensive than in my previous stay in Tokio... The only positive things are the location - 200m from subway and about 15min walking from main historic places in Higashiyama. The other positive is the friendly staf. I will, however, consider not to stay in this...

Mum and I absolutely LOVED this hotel. The beds were comfortable, rooms big (than normal for Japan standards) and the foot massager was the best after a day of long walking. The hotel is close to convenience stores (one next door) and a few minutes from food and a train station. Good hotel for a good price! The location is perfect close to Gion and 4 min walk from subway. You get free bath salt, WiFi is good and always on, room very spacey and clean, view is OK, air-conditioning makes sometimes strange noises but nothing to be afraid or too disturbing. On the street there is a great Yakitori bar, and also best sushi restaurants in Kyoto in a walk distance. I highly recommend this hotel...
