Gion HANNA STAY. — Hotel in Kyoto

This apartment-hotel is well-situated, just north of the Gion district, and walking distance (less than 15 minutes) from the popular nightlife area. ||||The apartment I stayed in was a “deluxe twin room” with a kitchen area, a large bathroom, and a separate bedroom area. The unit included all amenities, as well as a washer & dryer (and courtesy laundry soup). ||||The concierge at the apartment was exceedingly friendly and helpful, answering all of my questions and happily assisting me with the various items that did not have translated buttons/instructions available (although most of the appliances have English instruction sheets, I would recommend having one of these for the thermostat/heater/air conditioner as well). ||||The building is located less than a 5 minute walk from the Sanjo/Sanjo-Keihan station (get on/off of the train there, and not at the Gion station). ||||There are tons of restaurants and bars nearby, and almost every major site is walkable from...

Lovely place in Gion at a very reasonable price. What's not to like?||||Location was convenient for train and bus - near Keihan-Sanjo and Higashiyama train stations and bus stops; short walk to Gion and across the river to Karawamachi.||||Room was very clean and size was big by Japanese standards. Full equipped with kitchen equipment, washing machine, cutlery and crockery. Nice big bathroom. Comfortable beds.||||Lift was great to have. Staff were polite and helpful. Pictures provided are accurate. Some rooms overlook a cemetery next door but with the curtains drawn you wouldn't realise and it wasn't a problem for us.||||A small establishment with room service once every 3 days which was fine by us. If you need to top up on anything, you can ask the staff who man the front desk up to 9 pm.||||Highly recommended if you prefer to stay in an aparthotel. We would definitely...

My husband and I, with our 2 years old toddler stayed at Gion Hanna stay for 6D5N and we were very pleased with the hotel!||It’s located 3 mins from Sanjo Kehan station(exit 1), just opposite the station. ||The room is very spacious, fully equipped with washing machine(a bottle of washing detergent was provided too), microwave, toaster, full set of cockeries and cutleries(including kid’s utensils, bowl and cup), rice cooker, cooking pot, dish washing detergent(including new washing sponge), different types of glasses for water, wine and sake and so on! ||A warm welcome note that makes us feel likes home upon checked in. ||They even provided a kid’s pillow for our 2 year old toddler!! ||Lots of sightseeing and eateries informations provided at the hotel lobby too! ||Location is very good as well, near to a number of attractions. ||We have enjoyed our stay very much!...
