We are visiting from the US and since it was raining, we decided to come to the mall. Our first stop was Kidzoona (on Level LG, down from Spa Ceylon). It cost 16MYR ($4 USD) for each child and adults are free! Everyone needs to wear socks, but you can buy a pair (3.5 MYR, not bad) if you forget. This indoor playground is there cheapest we have found and it's GREAT! Our 4 year old has a blast and played several hours - she could easily keep herself occupied all day here if needed. As parents, we took turns playing with her and letting her play solo or with the other children. They have a relaxation station for adults with couches and am chairs) We had fun playing with her too! There is a sand area (they provide special shoes so sand isn't tracked everywhere), a play-pretend area with firetruck, sushi shop, flower shop, etc., A race track with 3 tricycles, inflatable slides into ball pit, doll house, building blocks, a small playscape and dress up clothes. The employees are very kind and if they aren't playing with a child, they are cleaning (and wow, they are thorough in their cleaning!). They also have signs for classes and events, but we didn't attend any. I love that you can come and go, so we were able to go eat lunch and return. It started to get busy around noon. Children can't leave the place unless adults (employees) unlock the door which is a great safety measure. Overall, we had a fantastic time and...
Read moreWent on a weekday morning, not too crowded. Opens at 10:30am. Kid RM20, accompanying adult - free.
Location is either via Harvey Norman (enter HN and then turn left and all the way straight) or via Aeon Big near Ah Cheng Laksa, then turn right and straight all the way.
Adult and kids must wear socks. You have 3 hours from the time you check in. You can go in and out, but within the 3 hours.
Big "bouncy castle" with 2 slides and a play area within the ball pit which is quite big. A few pretend play stations: Ice cream, burger, sushi bar, takoyaki, grocery, kitchen, fire truck, small fire station with mini pole.
Others were building blocks style stations 3-4 of those.
2 dollhouses.
Not too crowded, staff were extremely accommodating. 2 young temp managers pulled in from Kidzoona Shah alam and Kidzoona Setiawangsa were very helpful and also explained other "party packages". Other staff were on point, rearranging all the toys back in place frequently. This is important so the role play stations are ready for other kids to play.
Pros: Very spacious Enclosed area, relatively safe Safe area and well padded Very comfortable for adults, many places to sit and watch your child
Cons: A bit tricky to find the place Can be noisy because its located within the arcade. Toilet a bit far but manageable
Overall: RM20 worth it 2-4 years old will enjoy, especially if they enjoy roleplay...
Read moreImportant to note that this place does not open at 10am as stated. They typically open from 10.30am onwards, though today (13/11/2024) they opened at 11.10am. Remember to wear socks - both adults and children, otherwise they will charge you RM4 (adult) and RM3 (child) for new socks.
It is RM15 per child, and free entry for one guardian. You are also required to buy a membership card for RM2 - supposedly to collect points.
The playground is very clean, neat and enough to entertain your children for a couple of hours. Staff are so friendly and helpful here - they're always interacting with the children, and making sure items are kept neat and clean for others. This place is catered for younger children 10 and under. I do not recommend this place for older children as they would be bored. The play toys are also of a limited height, so they don't fit older kids.
The only gripe I have was that I was chatting with one of the mum's while waiting to pay. When it was my turn, the cashier charged me for her child, even after I explained that we weren't together. He simply said he cannot cancel after keying it into the computer. So make sure you check your bill...
