Hi, just sharing my part of experience here at this particular Pizza Hut. The date today is 7th October 2023 (Saturday), and here’s my honest review. 🫡
We arrived at the restaurant around 1pm, and there were small numbers of people dining when we arrived. So we sat, placed our orders, and received everything within 20 minutes. The food was nice and delicious, nothing particularly extraordinary but it is as we could expect from a franchise. The two Malay girl waiters were particularly nice and helpful, and they keep us checked if there’s any meal that we haven’t received, and is very generous with smiles that we could notice even behind the mask. 😁
After finishing our meal, the Indian manager, with her cheerful voice, asked if we had good time dining there, which we surely did. She also asked to comment if the new Mac&Cheese that we ordered were delicious or not, and being the frank guy, asked for more cheese but complimented the new menu. 👍
All I’m saying is, I did read the review of this particular Pizza Hut before entering, and really had low expectations due to the overwhelming bad reviews, but me and my wife just kept open mind and was generally shocked with the service that we received while dining here. Soo, to cut the story short, maybe try to keep open mind before deciding after reading the bad reviews, and maybe you’ll be proven false just like I did. Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Pizza Hut recently. I visited with a friend, and we sat down to look at the menu placed on the table. We weren’t aware that ordering was through a QR code, so we called for assistance. When we finally scanned the QR menu, we noticed that the offer/item shown on the physical menu wasn’t available online. We needed help to clarify this.
Unfortunately, despite our repeated efforts to get the staff's attention, especially the group of staff members (about five Indian girls) standing near the counter, no one responded. They saw us waving and calling out “miss” multiple times, but they deliberately looked away and did not come over even once. It was very rude and unprofessional.
What was more frustrating was that they were not even busy—they were simply standing and chatting. We eventually walked up right in front of them, hoping someone would assist, but they still ignored us. We weren’t asking for much—just basic help to understand the discrepancy in the menu.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a customer service setting. It made us feel completely ignored and unwelcome. Pizza Hut should seriously look into training staff to be more attentive and respectful...

The first interaction was a staff member informing us of a 45-minute wait for pizza before providing the QR code to order. I observed another staff member washing and serving one glass at a time, which seemed inefficient. At 8:45 PM, incoming customers were told the restaurant was closed, which is quite early for a mall location. When our food finally arrived, a server placed plates and cutleries on unoccupied tables but not ours, requiring us to retrieve our own utensils and condiments. The soup was served last, suggesting it was only prepared upon order. Even simple drinks like Coke took 30 minutes and reminders to arrive.
