Scammers at Plaza Lawyat Bkt Bintang
People who going to repair their mobile devices and computes please stay away from these scammers at 2nd floor escalator enterence. I love people in Malaysia but never believe what these guys did to me.
Saturday morning my mobile screen is broken and we went to do a repair until I can buy a new phone which suitable for me to do videos like I did with this OPPO A9 model during last 3 years.
First they asked me RM230 to replace the original display low quality one for RM130 and finally they bring down their price to RM120 for low quality one. Because I really don't want to spend more because I'm going to buy one soon. So I'm ok with them and ask them to replace.
When he try to ope and remove the battery I noticed he break the circuit board and he quickly try to hide it from me and go somewhere with my battery and that circuit board.
After 5 mins came back and said they now need to replace my circuit also because it's not functioning properly. Yes yes how it will be work when you destroy it when u try to open it and remove the battery.
Now scam begins, He asked another RM135 to replace the circuit/chip . Ok now I know what your going to do to me. I told him No we don't need to spend that much. It's better buying a new small phone rather spending that much for this. So just stop what your doing and give back my phone.
Same time I need to mentioned that I'm agreed to pay any service charges if he asked. But then he said ok then pay me RM70 . Because he has to open the case and remove battery and bring new screen from their friend from other side store.
I'm not that bad person to not to pay your service but this amount is reasonable? Bro seriously? Just to open the case ? Because this screen will also only cost around RM90. So your asking RM70 ?
I questioned him and he bring down that price to RM50 . Seriously? Ok I gave that because I respect Malaysia and the beautiful people who living here and I met day today life. I don't want to argue but just a sad what happen to my phone. I never thought that I find these kind of ugly people in Malaysia. But I understand everyone is not good and also everyone is not bad. We meet different kind of people every day. At least I learned a lesson.
But I'm posting this to anyone who planning to visit these places to repair their mobiles and laptops. Please visit brand agent authorized service center rather dealing and trusting with these kind of people and lose money and...

My recent visit confirmed its status as a vibrant hub for all things tech, from the latest smartphones and laptops to computer components, cameras, and even gaming consoles. If you're on the hunt for gadgets in KL, this is undoubtedly the first place you should consider. The sheer variety and density of shops is the first thing that hits you. Spanning multiple floors, Plaza Low Yat is a labyrinth of small independent retailers and larger chain stores, each crammed with an impressive array of electronics. Whether you're a seasoned tech enthusiast with a specific component in mind or a casual shopper browsing for the best deals on a new phone, you're likely to find it here. The concentration of vendors also fosters competition, which can translate to potentially better prices – a definite draw for bargain hunters. The constant chatter of shopkeepers, the display screens flashing with promotions, and the sheer volume of people browsing create a unique and lively environment. It's definitely not a quiet, leisurely shopping experience, but rather an immersive dive into the world of electronics. Finding what you need is generally straightforward, although navigating the multiple floors and similar-looking shops can take some time. Be prepared to do some legwork and compare prices between different vendors to ensure you're getting the best deal. Haggling is also a common practice in many of the smaller shops, so don't be afraid to try your luck! The range of products is truly comprehensive. I was impressed by the availability of both mainstream brands and more niche or specialized items. Whether you're building a gaming PC from scratch, looking for obscure camera accessories, or just need a new charging cable, Plaza Low Yat likely has you covered. This makes it a one-stop shop for all your electronic needs. However, it's worth noting a few potential downsides. The authenticity of some products, particularly accessories and lower-priced items, can occasionally be questionable. It's crucial to exercise caution and purchase from reputable vendors, especially for higher-value items. Doing your research beforehand and being aware of typical market prices is highly...
