DÔME (IOI City Mall Putrajaya) — Restaurant in Sepang

went on weekend after lunch hours.

indoor seats were almost full, and not suitable for above 3 pax as most seats are for 2 pax table only. went as 4 pax and the seating wasnt prefferable, as we got seated right at the very corner with the aircond in that section not working. staff wasnt helpful nor attentive to give us options such as outdoor seating, or even as simple as asking if the seat is okay for us, or notifying that the area isnt well ventilated. but given we were hungry we just sat down and ordered.

victoria sponge cake keras nak mampus. like its been exposed for days, stale. there's no way a cake can be that hard unless its stale. and for some reason it was oily too? felt. like they brushed it with oil before serving to compensate for the staleness. when i glance back at the display after ordering, the cakes are facing the staff so you cant really see the cross section (ie stale or not), not sure if intentional but definitely felt like it.

other than that i would say its ok. food prepared quite fast and the stuff coming from hot kitchen taste good. but considering how you spend 50-60+ per pax... the inconveniences...

I absolutely love the drinks and food! The quality is consistently great, and the flavors never disappoint. It's a lovely space overall.

However, one thing that has become a major issue for me is the odor in the cafe. Since many of the staff seem to be from Bangladesh, there's a persistent smell of body odor that makes the experience uncomfortable. I genuinely believe this is something that management can and should address.

To improve this, I suggest how about setting some hygiene standards. Encourage staff to maintain personal hygiene through training and providing necessary hygiene supplies like deodorant or fresh uniforms?

I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously, cause i noticed this quite long time ago but didn’t have the time to voice it out. This cafe use to be one of my favourite. I’d love to come back and enjoy the wonderful food and drinks without feeling...

I have never been agitated by the service of an establishment before. I do not usually write reviews as I would rather comment on it in person however, the response I had gotten was infuriating.

First of all, our food came almost an hour late, customers who entered later than us were served quicker. The food was abismal and the coffee was worse. The flat white was watered down and tasted like milk with a hint of coffee. Even coffee flavoured milk has more taste. Food came without cutleries and we HAD to ask the servers to give us utensils for our food which was already late. The quality was below par compared to the price. "Carbonara" was cream based would say a lot.
