Il porto di Marsamxett è il principale porto turistico di Malta , dispone del maggior numero di ormeggi per yacht ed altri tipi di imbarcazioni ed ha il vantaggio di essere ubicato in una zona turistica molto frequentata e con un' intensa vita notturna , mentre Porto Grande è più mercantile ; a Marsamxett vi sono tra gli altri vari negozi per la nautica e l'isola Manoel ospita un cantiere per yacht .

Pittoresco,adatto al turista che cerca il colore,o la tranquillità.Buoni i ristoranti che offrono piatti di pesce e la famosa aljotta,piatto tipico maltese.Interessante il mercato,che offre prodotti locali,non le solite "cineserie".

Marsamxett Harbour, historically also referred to as Marsamuscetto, is a natural harbour on the island of Malta. It is located to the north of the larger Grand Harbour. The harbour is generally more dedicated to leisure use than the Grand Harbour.
