Was able to book their bus service to the Remarkables on short notice (eve of the trip) which is quite impressive.
The bus service departs from town around 7:20 am and from Sherwood around 0805 - 0815. It takes about 45 mins to an hour to reach the ski resort (often an installation of snow chains is required up the mountain). The morning timing might be a little late for first dibs but you do get sometime for breakfast. The trip back is around 4-415pm.
You get a guaranteed seat on the bus and there is a compartment for snowboards and skis. Room for hand carry is more limited especially if the bus is full. There are usb charging ports available for passengers too.
Overall it is a rather reliable service and takes away the trouble of chain fitting or driving up the mountain or queuing for park n ride. You don’t have to worry about queuing for the bus as well compared to the standard Remarkables Ski Bus. If you don’t mind the slight premium or the timings, this is a good transport option.

Another person I would like to give thanks to, is Johnno. Johnno went above and beyond everyday making sure our group was sorted for things such as food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, giving us tips and tricks for snowboarding/skiing. He also helped with what certain clothes to wear around Queenstown, on the jet boat and on the slope. Aswell as Johnno being an amazing tour guide, he was also an amazing person, he was really easy to talk to and befriend. A couple times I went out snowboarding on the slopes with just him and he showed me around the mountain and shared some of his expertise to help with my learning of a new sport. I can’t give enough thanks to Johnno for this week as he has made it so much better, I am really grateful to of had Johnno as a tour guide and hope to see him...
Read moreMy self and my wife had bookings with Info & Snow for Remarkables Monday, unfortunately due to coming down with a cold late Sunday afternoon ment we could not go anymore there’s been no compensation offered, just tough luck. I understand there is cancellations policies that apply, however I was not aware I’ll become sick. Very unhappy as this is both our first time to see snow.
I am sorry my illness got absolutely worse throughout the night, hence we made the decision to contact you at the time we did. Can you assure me that we could have had a different outcome if we contacted your company in the morning? This is an event out of everyone’s control.
