My recent visit to London Underground Pizza Bar was an absolute delight and exceeded all expectations! If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Queenstown, this place is a must-add to your itinerary.
Culinary Excellence: Authentic Italian Pizza by Chef Nico
Let's talk about the pizza first – it's simply the best authentic Italian pizza I've had in London! The star of the show is undoubtedly their pizza chef, Nico. Originally from Chile, her talent is truly remarkable. You can taste the genuine passion she puts into every single pizza; each bite is a testament to her skill. Beyond her culinary genius, Nico is also incredibly personable, often engaging with guests, which adds such a wonderful touch to the dining experience. Highly recommend her creations!
Bar Magic: Cocktails Crafted by Victor
The excellence continues at the bar! The entire bar staff is fantastic, but a special shout-out has to go to the bar supervisor, Victor. This Brazilian mixologist is a true artist! He crafts amazing cocktails that are both creative and perfectly balanced. Not only does he whip up incredible drinks, but he does it all with a beautiful, welcoming smile. His expertise and friendly demeanor really elevate the bar experience.

walked in to a somewhat quiet night @7:25pm got seated at a nice booth - but as it got later, the outside air got colder and, we were unfortunately positioned parallel to the entry stairs. cold air was funnelling our way. ordered drinks... cosmo was 80% vodka... then order our food... I asked our waiter if the pizza bases were sourdough (didn't state on the menu, but wanted to check to be sure) waiter didn't understand what sourdough meant so grabbed a chef... they walk over, unamused. i ask - "are the pizza bases sourdough" they reply (almost disgusted that i asked) "no" I then say "okay ill just get a gluten free base then" I then explain my dietary restrictions to which the chef replies, bluntly, and arrogantly "there's a whole lotta gluten in that". said chef goes back to their station and tells the other chef, points at us then, they both glare over at our table like it was a sin to ask???? 8:10pm the bell is rung by a chef as our pizzas are ready (keep in mind it's a tuesday night, you could hear a pin drop). the waiter? on his phone behind the counter...5 minutes pass...10 minutes pass... he strolls over to the bench, engages in a lengthy conversation (which could've been had at a different time... but hey, it's just the customers food getting cold, who cares?!) and slowly but surely brings us our arguably cold pizzas. everything was bland and lacked love to be honest. which is... very disappointing for "queenstowns #1 pizza" place. we were also billed incorrectly and went back to which the 'system' was at fault......

But also, forget to turn off their laptop notifications sound, and can play twice in a row the same music ! (like literally, in the row.) But that's only fair, since they're actually getting drunk while they're playing. I don't know where you guys got your qualifications but maybe you should google how to manage a business or how many hours are the employees supposed to have between two days of work (yeah I doubt that finishing at 5.30am to start again at 12pm is legal). While you're there, maybe take a chance to google "What is a Sicilian Pizza" before lying to your customers and taking their money. That's what I call being a thief. Also, please learn how to cut limes and lemons, because they actually look like a 3yo cut them. One last thing just for your own knowledge, if you put the Italian flag on the poster for Latino night, People might expect Italians songs, rather than South American. The pool table is free due to the shocking state of the felt and...
