Read moreVery nice museum that reflects the glory of the Sikh Era. This was my first visit to this museum. The path to the museum was a bit inside, which made it a little difficult for us to find. We first went to the art gallery on the second floor, where beautiful paintings and photographs were waiting for us. The museum staff present there told us that one of the paintings on display holds the distinction of being the largest painting in Asia. However, the second floor is not wheelchair accessible because there is no elevator, only stairs.
There is an entry ticket of Rs. 100 to visit this museum. Many rare artefacts from the Sikh period are displayed here.
Then we visited the ground floor, which is ♿wheelchair accessible. There, we saw Sikh weapons, and observing the military preparedness of the soldiers and rulers of that time was astonishing. It was surprising to see such advanced war equipment from centuries ago.
