Exceptional Inka Express Tour Guide – A Journey to Remember!

I recently took the Inka Express bus from Cusco to Puno, and I have to say that our tour guide made the experience absolutely unforgettable. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly engaging, turning what could have been a simple bus ride into an immersive cultural adventure.

Throughout the journey, our guide provided fascinating insights into Incan history, Andean culture, and the breathtaking landscapes we passed. Every stop along the route—Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya Pass, and Pukara—was brought to life with detailed explanations and interesting anecdotes. His passion for Peruvian history was evident, and he was always happy to answer questions, making sure everyone felt included and informed.

Beyond his knowledge, our guide was also attentive and personable, ensuring that everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. He made special efforts to accommodate different languages and interests, creating a welcoming atmosphere on the bus.

The entire journey was well-organised, with seamless transitions between stops, plenty of time for photos, and a delicious buffet lunch. Thanks to our guide, the long ride felt like a series of enriching experiences rather than just a means of transportation.

If you're considering the Cusco to Puno route, I highly recommend Inka Express, and if you’re lucky enough to have a guide like ours, you’re in for an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Andes!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – A must-do experience with an incredible guide! I only wish I could...

My experience traveling from Cusco to Puno with Inka Express was incredible! They actually exceeded my expectations. The bus was in great condition and the service was superb. They offered hot and cold beverages during the ride, and the restaurant we stopped at for lunch located in Sicuani was brimming with culture. There was live music, the food was delicious (and included in the package), and there were so many opportunities for me to get my pictures with the cute little llamas and alpacas. The places we visited were beautiful and consisted of a great variety. For example, we saw ruins, different landscapes, temples and museums, and the tour guide was incredibly knowledgable about everything. He was able to not only answer all of our questions, but he could actually anticipate them and delve into more detail. Overall, it was fascinating, and I highly recommend this...

We had a great time riding the Inka Express Bus from Cusco to Puno on June 26, 2025! It was such a fun way to travel between the two locations and to see some additional sites along the way. Our tour guide Elizabeth was fantastic! She did a wonderful job communicating as we drove as well as walking us through each tour stop. All of the bus stops were very interesting and Peruvian countryside was beautiful and intriguing as we passed through it. The lunch buffet was also plentiful and delicious. There was also huge storage below the bus for our large bags to be carried. Additionally, I had several questions in advance of the trip and the customer service staff was very responsive and helpful with answering me timely. Thank you Inka Express for an...

Our bus journey felt more like a guided tour, where each stop revealed a new city. Both the driver and our guide, Manuel, were exceptional. They helped with our large luggage, provided insightful information about the sites we visited, and answered all our travel-related questions. The bus itself was very comfortable, with spacious seats and power outlets to charge our phones. We were also offered snacks and drinks along the way. The views were breathtaking, though many missed the scenery, absorbed in their phones. I’ve shared some photos to give you a glimpse of the stunning landscape. In short, choosing Inka Express for the trip between Cusco and Puno is a no-brainer—you’ll have an incredible experience.

Through Guide Juan Carlos' passionate explanation and the preparation of data on the Incan civilization, I learned well about the Incan civilization as well as the pre-Inca civilization. Despite the fact that only four passengers were on the large bus, he was kind enough to explain the meaning of the big bread and share it with us. He spared no effort to call the person in charge on my behalf when my bus counter to Lafaz was closed at Puno Bus Terminal. It was a very informative and heart-warming trip.

Wonderful tour and great guide. The bus was very comfortable, clean, with a safe driver. I really enjoyed the stops along the way and the gorgeous scenery. The lunch stop had nice options and an incredible view of the mountains. My group was going from Cusco to Puño so it only had 3 people total. The guides speak English well, but I used this an opportunity to work on my Spanish comprehension. I highly recommend this day trip option!
