The Central Market in Ljubljana is a must-visit for anyone interested in experiencing the local culture and cuisine. This vibrant market is located in the heart of the city, and it is open every day from morning to evening. The market is divided into two main areas: the covered market and the open-air market. The covered market is home to a variety of stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other produce. The open-air market is a bit more eclectic, and you can find everything from souvenirs to flowers to street food here. One of the best things about the Central Market is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The vendors are always happy to chat with customers, and they are always willing to give recommendations. You can also find some great bargains at the market, especially if you are willing to haggle. In addition to fresh produce, the Central Market is also a great place to find traditional Slovenian food. There are several stalls selling sausages, cured meats, and other delicacies. You can also find freshly baked bread, pastries, and cakes. If you are looking for a unique and authentic experience in Ljubljana, then the Central Market is a must-visit. It is a great place to wander around, people-watch, and sample some of the local food. Here are some specific things that I liked about the Central Market: * The fresh produce was of excellent quality and very reasonably priced. * The vendors were friendly and helpful. * There was a wide variety of products to choose from, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, and souvenirs. * The market was clean and well-organized. * It was a great place to people-watch and experience the local culture. Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Central Market in Ljubljana. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The central market of Ljubljana that opens only in the morning, this is a place where you can find many local produces such as fruits and vegetables, and also honey. It's quite an interesting place to soak in the local culture and atmosphere, though if you're not a fan of markets, then there's not much to do. Not many of the sellers can speak good English, but hand gestures and some basic words are more than enough. We bought strawberries and yoghurt here which were very fresh and worth it. Quite an interesting place to visit.

A great place to visit. Lots of fruit and vegetables for sale. I had two favourite stalls... the lady selling sauerkraut from vats has to be worth a visit if you’re a tourist. For a euro she’ll sell you a huge container full of home prepared local delicacy. I didn’t realise how much I’d love the stuff. And the woman running the fresh fish lunch bar is great... the fried sardines where superb despite looking like they were small. And for less than €5! A lovely city and the market adds to the ambience.

A beautiful market with an excellent variety of fresh produce, meat, Fruits and veggies, beautiful flowers and tulips, and some clothes. We loved the jams, marmalades and honey variety. There were more than 10 different types of apples on sale! Great atmosphere and an ample of choices... We ended up coming again the next day for specialty coffee and more Mandarins. The passion fruit was delicious and the pear marmalade is a must try!

If you are in Teneriffe you have to visit this place. The variety of fruit, vegetables, fish. You can choose fish or sea food and they cook it right in front of you. The fruit and vegetables are amazing, some of them I have seen for the first time. It is great to experience local vibe. There is a parking garage right bellow the market. Price is ok. Would highly recommend. But do have in mind it closes at 1400.
