Cine Ideal is a good place to look at movies in their original version. But the rooms are from another age. Depending on your room, some have very tiny with a tiny screen and uncomfortable seats. Level between the seats isn't a lot. The washroom is okay for females and clean. The price of the food is very expensive. The ticket price as well.
Some people are very rude in this cinema and politess and respect disappear more and more in Madrid. Maybe it is in cinemas of Madrid in general. I don't know. I mean, for example, you want to pass, go to your seat, and people put their umbrella in front of their seat. They do not get up or move the umbrella, so you have to pass in the 15 cm they let you and stick and fall on them... Or they make fall your popcorn and pretend nothing happened while you were absent. Of course, after seeing them directly when I came back, they were embarrassed and didn't know what to say... They didn't present any excuse and didn't want to repair their act. I stuck to my ground and asked them to repair their act. After unwillingly getting up so we asked an employee to refill it, they don't even look at you or present some kind words when you said thanks to them.
This is the level now we have in Madrid... In comparison, in a concert this week, an elderly person was very attentive to not bother others with her coat and asked me gently if it wasn't bothering me. See well the difference there. I have to say that next time, I will stay at home and wait for the movie to be available on the platform. You save 24€ mostly and do not need to fall on people when you have to take your seat or people who crash your party. Thank you Cine Ideal for this...
Read moreI recently visited this cinema to watch * Coraline in Spanish, and overall, I had a great experience. The theater boasts impressive screens and plenty of space, making it easy to enjoy the movie without feeling cramped. The sound and picture quality were top-notch, enhancing the overall viewing experience.
However, there was one small hiccup: no one informed me in advance that I needed 3D glasses. While it wasn’t a major issue, it would have been nice to know beforehand. The 3D glasses cost an additional 1.5€, which is something to keep in mind if you’re planning to watch a 3D film.
As for the concessions, the prices were on the higher side. A small Fanta and small popcorn set me back 12€, which felt a bit steep. Despite this, the popcorn was fresh, and the drink was cold, so I can’t complain too much.
All in all, I’m quite satisfied with my visit and look forward to coming back soon!

Read more5 stars for clean venue and theater house, quick and helpful service.
On first visit, came to see A Spike Lee Joint (Blackkklansmen: must-see, perils of USA, thought-provoking, funny, relatable). For a Saturday 1145a showing, the venue was empty. Easily purchased my ticket at concessions (3 self-purchase machines were available), and ordered a medium Coca-Cola (concessions are still as expensive as in the States). Communicated in Spanish, but they were patient with my low-knowledge and repeated without grudge.
Inside: Large auditorium, great view, clean space, comfy non-reclinable chairs, quality sound (can hear movie next door at some points), with Spanish subtitles
Although I note imperfections, it is a great venue and I look forward...
