New Robin Hood — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

Right after arriving there we could sense the atmosphere was just top-notch. The commotion from the streets outside was nowhere to be heard.

The place itself was tidy and all the drinks being shown on the shelves (and on the taps) made your mouth water already.

The owner(?) or the barkeep was welcoming and you could feel that you were welcome there.

The food itself (fish & chips being the daily special we all had it) was just out of this world and the rest of the menu we eyed had tempting items as well. Would definitely consider (or we even may) coming again during this visit.

All in all it felt like a home away from home even though the place screamed England and we're not from there.

Price wise it was a bit pricier than your ordinary places in the town but I'd say it was more than worth the price.

Would my home town have a place like this I'd go there often.

Well we're here as I type having just had 1 of the best Sunday dinners I truly think I've ever had appart from home (as in my own cooked) it was bloody fantastic !!!!me and my mum are in tenerife for 2 weeks and I checked out this bar b4 hand to see where was good to eat . I'm so glad I did and was not disappointed we've been made to feel very welcome and at home like we're 2 of the regulars that frequent to this lovely bar . Food was spot on lovely lamb that just fell apart, giant home made Yorkshire pud mash all the veg , there was also pork and beef you could also have ,all 3 meats if u desired . I just had lamb as it's my favorite and crispy roast potatoes as well all washed down with a cold beer in the sun . I was full but mum had the homemade triffle which again was fabulous so she said . We're so glad we found the New Robin hood and can't wait to visit again...

If you’re after the best value for money English breakfast in Puerta De La Cruz , look no further than The Robin Hood. Real Cumberland sausages, proper black pudding, and everything cooked to perfection – none of that cheap café nonsense here!

Phil, the owner, is an absolute gent – always cheerful, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in what he does. The place has a proper friendly vibe, like your favourite local back home.

They also do cracking fish & chips, and their Sunday roast is spot on – proper portions, tasty gravy, and great roasties. Best of all, they show the football, so if the main footie bars are packed, head here and you’ll still catch the game with a cold pint in hand.

Honestly, it’s one of those places you’ll come back to again and again. Top food, top people, top prices. What more...
