Maison Lupin is the best bar my wife and I visited during her two week stay in Valencia. The service is excellent, the drinks are strong, and most importantly, the atmosphere and the decor is the best in Valencia for well-dressed couples who are on a date.
I do not use the term “best” lightly. The other highly rated bars we visited in Valencia had issues. For example, several of the highly rated bars turned out to be hotel bars with casually dressed hotel clientele at late hours of the evening (imagine a family of four in shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops at the next table while you are trying to have a romantic evening). The atmosphere would immediately kill our mood regardless of the phenomenal decor at these places.
Another great thing about Maison Lupin is that they are open until 3:00am every evening. My wife and I had trouble finding high-end bars that were open after 1:30am since the young hordes turn to clubs after that hour, and Maison Lupin was a welcome exception to the rule to keep the night going for us.
If you are on a date and are not looking to spend the evening at a pub or a hotel bar, Maison Lupin will...
Read moreCame here twice. Once came around 9 pm for drinks in cool decorations but we're disappointed. It turned out that bartender went for lunch for 1 hour and no drinks apart from beer ate served. In the bar. In the evening... Can somebody explain it?? We decided to give the second change some days after. This time came around 8 pm and we're sitted outside. We got menu and selected cocktails that we have been looking for since previous time. Waiter took order and in some time brought regular glasses. We asked where the decorations that they showed on menu and we blankly told that such serving is possible only inside but not outside. Second disappointment. After some negotiations we were allowed to come inside and our flasses were placed inside of cool decorations. That's it. If he would tell us this from the beginning it would be different experience all together. But these 2 cases madeus not to want to come back to this...
Read moreUN QUIERO Y NO PUEDO.
