Scent of Bamboo — Restaurant in Lucerne

Ok, this is what I don’t understand how could this place still be in service? I’m adding on to the already existing bad review especially the Chinese lady who is serving.

Well, if you’re really desperate then sure, get your food here even so, just walk straight or just beside you’ll have a better service and food

So, my experience is the rudeness the Chinese lady. I definitely thinks that she hates her job therefore she needs to head back from wherever she came… Ok, I’m hash here because this is not the standard we tolerate in Switzerland. Perhaps, in her home country 🤷🏽‍♀️

Food - no options for vegan. The only one available was noodles with vege which was dried up. All the rest are meat

Service - I tap for the bell and took awhile for her to come. But that’s not the problem. When she was there, she was grumpy and rude and I just told her - Thank you and you can keep your noodles to yourself 😅

Would I recommend this place? Definitely not. I’d recommend that they close shop and head home.

As a service provider, you need to love your job so you’ll share the job and wibes. As I’ve said, if you’re desperate then go for it. Otherwise walk a few meters away for a smile and appreciation...

It’s been long time I didn’t went back to Luzern for a evening break : i changed duty team. I remember before I usually get my red Curry chicken to take away from there. It was pretty good that time (long time ago in a far away galaxy… let say 3 years). Now it’s not tasting traditional thaï red curry paste (or even the standard grocery thaï kitchen for noobs). The sauce should be not oily but creamy by coconut milk (expensive I know). Let say for CHF 15,50 I got a balanced meal with (have to admit) good quality and amount of chicken, bamboo sheets and courgette, but texture and taste is definitely not was I experienced before or also in some restaurant like in Geneva station area. Hope they will improve back. I miss a good panang or red curry taste (it’s not the same) but for people who don’t know let say it’s ok. Next time will probably go to Migros catch the « Anna’s Best » equivalent and microwave it for half the price : it’s taste pretty good and it’s creamy (probably with some magical factory chemicals liant more than...

I study in Luzern and go once a week to this place. The chicken sweet sour is pretty good and they have good prices. This week family visiting me from the states. We did a Lucerne trip and ordered some take away before doing a trip to Rigi. The asian looking guy at the counter was super unfriendly and had a bad attitude towards us. We spoke perfect Swiss German and were friendly like always. There were no other customers waiting either. The only reason for his attitude could be because we were of Indian origin or he had already a horrible day at 11:30 AM. Either way, he was not a professional in what he was doing.
