Not sure why my girlfriend's post has disappeared. I'll write it again: We went there for lunch, approx. 20 customers sitting. We ordered juice, water and food, two omelets from the lunch menu. Drinks were served quickly, but then the waiting began. Around 10min after us the restaurant started to fill up. A group of 8 people arrived at our neighbor table. 15min later they got the first dishes. A couple of minutes later more dishes arrived for them and we asked where ours would be. The waiter replied that they ordered pasta so they can get quicker, but that our omelets are in the making. Another 10 min or something later the neighbor table received salads and rice dishes, our table still plane... when their deserts arrived we canceled the food. In the end we wasted way more than one hour of our day off, paying close to THB650 for two juices, one small bottle of water and an espresso. Their staff isn't upfront enough to tell the truth, their manager apologized, but didn't do what he is supposed to do. Very bad service ruined the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. All of them require training how to handle busy times in a restaurant (bread basket, voucher or anything), it's so easy and people would...

Another 15minutes later the people of our neighbor table we served with food, even though they arrived 10min later than us. Ok, can happen. Another 20min later we asked where our food is and why all tables around us had their food already even though all of them came later. The service lady said that they all ordered pasta and that our food is next. Another ten minutes later the neighbor table got salads, rice dishes and we were still waiting. The “manager” came and we asked again when the food would be served, he apologized but couldn’t or didn’t want to tell. Then we saw that the neighbor table got their deserts... we asked for the check and canceled the food. Worst service I’ve seen in Bangkok so far. They don’t even bring bread, a salad or anything, or just a voucher with an apology. Many ways to handle busy times. Bad service, staff not honest, a management and restaurant without concept. Sorry for the long review, but a place like that shouldn’t be...
Read moreThe place has beautiful decor and garden, but overpriced and so-so food. Three minute walk from BTS. Good place for evening appetizers and drinks in the terrace. The adjacent "aroma shop" is worth the visit. Could be a 2 star for the food, but the garden/decor/shop makes the whole experience a 4.
The mango and avocado salad with prawns was very good, but the main dishes were disappointing and expensive: "blue cheese and bacon pasta" and a Thai dish with spicy pork patty, fresh cherry tomatoes, and boiled egg (not very nice looking either) at US15-20 per dish. Also, no local beer, only imported at US7. We will definitively come back, but only to enjoy the garden in the evening with some cold cuts and cheese.
The Thai "aroma shop" is really great and worth the visit. Delicious and chic hand soaps, creams and "room perfumes", at...
