I don't go there often, which for such a trumpeted public destination is telling in itself. Simply, there is rarely any call to do do, and over the years the experience once there remains distinctly desolate and second-rate.

The recent public event for the development of the HS2 railway station comprised only three double-sided display board, with no maps/plans, with much of their text being PR puff. There was no one on duty and no other written material.

The building was wontedly deserted and over the space of half an hour in late morning only one person stopped at the displays for a quick glance.

Upstairs, what has been left on permanent (paid) display of the City's once impressive exhibition of its industrial heretage is still there but, certainly when I was there showed no sign of being a tourist destination.

The big cinema remains patently an ex-cinema, casting its own gloom over the place.

When the tram route opeventually makes it out there we shall have demonstration of whether the general air of unantedness is a factor primarily of poor public transport. Or something more fundamental on how the City originally conceived of Millennium Point, and has...

Went online to book up for the following day but it showed that the Museum was sold out for that day. A friend told me that they had rang the box office to say that a number of tickets are held each day for people that turn up at the door. I wish that this info could be displayed on their website because if a friend had not not told me about tickets on the door on the day the. I wouldn't have gone. I found the museum to be very interesting but too many of the museum pieces were really packed together. So it meant that you couldn't get a good view sometimes nor could you get near to the boards etc that were telling you about the history of the machine etc that you were looking at. Unfortunately this meant that I would not be making another trip to the museum for quite a while. In fact I don't think I will...

This building is situated in Birmingham city centre-south, it is hosting (in one half of it), 'The Incubator' and the 'Computing Engineering and Built Environment' faculty of the Birmingham City University. In the other half of the building, the members of the public can access the 'Think Tank Museum' on 4 floors and its wonderful outdoor playground for children, a section of the 'BOA Academy', a nice Italian Caffe, a few business offices and 'The Platform' an amazing events space on 1st floor that can hosts any type of events, conferences, even private parties. Millennium Point is linked to the Multistorey CarPark, so parking shouldn't be a problem. Overall, Millennium Point is a very nice place of interest to the public, and for students in Birmingham city or other visitors/tourists.

Good location and easy to get via both bus and car. Parking fees are adequate. The place does not seem to have changed in many years, however in the past 6 months they have made repairs to some of the broken items on show. If you use tesco club card, you can use your points here. Staff are very friendly of you are able to find one. Very good eating areas. Outdoor area is good, but poor shade offered and it is all in direct sunlight. Would be beneficial if they are able to display their shows more often as most of then a 1-2 times a day. Recommended for all ages.

Interesting location, came here for a day conference which was very well hosted and organised, we had the auditorium for our main key note speaks which was great, well organised sound techs, and then some smaller rooms for breakouts, easy to find, the food served at the event was fantastic, facilities were nice, clean and well maintained. Interesting use of space given the vast open central part, if not a fan of heights be careful! Lifts, stairs, and escalators were all available.
