Charisma Regent Wellness Clinic — Attraction in Great Britain

I am unable to review treatments but instead I am reviewing the buying and redeeming of gift vouchers.

Charisma Regent vouchers have a very short window of six months. (This is actually the minimum legal limit- infact trading standards and UK government advise 12-24 months for retail and restaurants). I don’t know about you but as a busy working mother finding any free time is hard! I think it’s a shame that a business that wants to help wellness gives such a short voucher time.

I experienced difficulty booking by telephone and missed the six month deadline.

Unfortunately Charisma Regent were not able to offer a grace period or extension based on goodwill. I phoned them and also emailed but they weren’t interested and “our policy is our policy” despite the difficulties I faced booking trying to book.

I do want to support independent businesses and I do appreciate the struggles of all city centre retail/services however I am disappointed. Nobody needs a massage and a little TLC more than busy person.

As a person who buys vouchers for colleagues, teachers and friends- I would like others to be aware that six months is a very short period for anyone with a busy life and especially short if someone is unwell or having a difficult time (new baby etc)- a six month voucher isn’t a helpful gift. I was in for Swedish massage training one-to-one, lymphatic drainage and wood therapy training, first thing was that I was made to feel so comfortable the minute I walked into the clinic. Claire and Yvonne were so so knowledgeable in their field and was able to answer all questions I had. They demonstrated all the process and techniques really well and was then very supportive when it was my turn to learn and carry out the practical side. Would highly recommend going to Charisma for training as you will get a high level of training and knowledge and also continued support afterwards .

This was my first ever experience of aesthetics, I was very nervous beforehand. Kerry made me feel so at ease from the moment I stepped into the clinic. She took the time to explain everything to me about the treatment and followed all safety procedures. She was so lovely and welcoming, I knew I was in safe hands. I was was expecting the treatment to cause some discomfort- I needn't have worried, it wasn't painful at all! As a registered nurse Kerry was able to answer any questions that I had about the products, treatment and aftercare. I loved the finished result! Kerry is so skilled at creating natural looking lips.
