Arrived for brunch at 5 as booked the waiters looked at us like we was green lol . They had our booking but not our extra friends of 6 that had added on to the booking a week earlier. All the bookings was confirmed before we arrived so something went wrong in the middle. They quickly arranged a big table which was great but the food wasnt great sandwiches was hard my friend found a hair in the middle of one and was offered a new one but by then we was a little put off we kept having to ask for more prosecco trying to find a waiter was hard work as it's a big restaurant and they are all just about doing there own thing ( working obv ) so in the end they put a bucket on the table I think we would of been best going earlier in the day as I dont think anyone could be bothered by the time we arrived at 5. I did ring up twice to confirm the booking so late on to a man saying yes your booked in everything is fine .... nice views of the city centre

Expensive but amazing views, the best views are from the toilets and they did not mind that we just came fit the views and then left as was very busy

While the building itself is well-maintained and visually impressive, the treatment of students — especially those from the University of Law (ULaw) — has been disappointing.

City Tower not only denied students access to its second-floor car park, despite ULaw occupying the 8th floor and sharing the second floor structurally, but also placed blanket restrictions on using the 27th/28th floor (the upper lounge/viewing area) due to the alleged noise or “inappropriate behaviour” of a few students.

Instead of managing individuals, City Tower chose collective punishment, restricting all students based on isolated incidents. Meanwhile, staff and other tenants continue to enjoy full access. There’s no appeals process, no student consultation, and no structured compromise.

At a time when most universities and professional buildings are moving toward shared spaces, accessibility, and inclusive design, City Tower seems more focused on status-based segregation — allowing access to some, excluding others, often without transparency or empathy.

As a student who pays fees and occupies this building daily, it’s disappointing to be treated more like an outsider than a...

This is located in the heart of Manchester. We have Piccadilly Gardens nearby. The ground level is home to several reputable stores where you can easily acquire items at a reasonable price. There are several bus stops directly in front of the stores that will take you to other sections of the city. There is a tram stop just after the bus stops where you may connect to important areas via the Metrolink Tram. Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, from which you can quickly connect to other cities in the United Kingdom, is also within walking distance of the city tower. The city tower is located in the heart of possibilities and...
