Went to the artisan market at Hotwalls today and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed it.. It was a hot day so we thought parking might be an issue but with a blue badge you can park right outside. If the market is on accessibility is great but not much good if it's not. The artists are really helpful though and will do their best to assist. We purchased all sorts! From a beautiful decorated skull to a necklace. There were some brilliant singers when we went so that added to the wonderful atmosphere. It could do with more seating and a way to access the sea view by wheelchair but if you are able bodied you'll have some stunning views of Portsmouth harbour mouth. The studios are provided by Portsmouth City Council on a time limited basis to allow the local community of Artists to flourish. It also ensures that there is a new and vibrant community every few years.
