Lovely, calm pier within the popular Old Portsmouth district. The photos are of the walkway just behind/ above the pier ( Broad Street ). There were also other visitors fishing exactly on the pier if fishing is your thing - I don't have the patience for it! The beach below is pebbly more than sandy but still nice to sit down and enjoy the view looking out towards the Isle of Wight.
