As one of the leaders of Summit’s Crown, our local Beyblade club in Akron, and part of the wider Black Crescent Community in Ohio, I just want to express how grateful we are to Full Grip Games. For the past 7 months, they’ve consistently welcomed us in with open arms—setting aside one or two Saturdays each month and sharing their space with us. Beyblade can be a loud and energetic game, but they’ve never once complained. We share the space with other players and spectators, and it’s always been a positive, respectful atmosphere. I first reached out to them out of the blue in December, and they didn’t hesitate—they just said, “Let’s do it.” Thanks to their support, our small group has grown into a recognized presence in the area. We wouldn’t be where we are without them. On top of that, their selection of imported Pokémon products from Japan is genuinely impressive. Nobody else has what they have.

Full Grip is an epic store for board games and TCG alike. They have stock of EVERYTHING (no matter how old the set is) and plenty of singles. I started playing a new TCG (Lorcana) and they were able to pull me a huge list of cards at a comparable price to TCGplayer.com. What's better - I had them in hand less than 24 hours later. The new place is huge and can accommodate a lot of people. I played a tournament there on a Saturday and was impressed they had a packed house with happy people competing in Magic, Beyblade (yes - you read that right), Lorcana, and Battletech. They even have people playing card games I have never even heard of. If you wait in line or hunt around for big box stores, you might be able to save a little cash on cards. If you want to be able to walk up and buy whatever you want for a decent price, just go to Full Grip. I am proud they're in Downtown Akron and expanding!

I was told there were spots open for the destined rivals prerelease and to show up to sign up. Anyone familiar with the Pokemon TCG knows this is standard fare. After driving two hours I show up an hour early and get wait listed because they did the prerelease registration online??? Why was I told it was first come first serve in person? Anyways here’s the $50 league battle deck that took this from a 3 star review to a 2 star review. Not pictured is a $230 Prismatic premium collection, $130 prismatic ETBs, and $30 Shrouded Fables 3 pack blisters. All of these are at least 200% MSRP. Looking through the other bad reviews you will find the owner saying something akin to “if I didn’t charge this much someone would buy it and flip it on eBay”. Okay, so you’re saving the community from scalpers by scalping first. Sound logic, man.

I am a new customer to FGG who is interested in MTG only and have had entirely positive experiences. The selection of MTG cards and products is impressive and they usually will have the singles you go looking for. The prices on token cards is reasonable as well. If you are new to magic they have everything you need from cards, sleeves, boxes to binders. The store has always been very clean and organized when I have been in and it is easy to find what you are looking for. I have not done any pre releases in years but the price for tournament entry is very fair. I was told 25 dollars and that is the amount a pre kit will cost you so if you want to play in store or even just buy some to have a tournament at home the price point is fair. I have spent a considerable amount of money in the store since the first visit and can say I will be back more in the future. The owner of the store was nice when I met him to sell some art prints and he gave me an acceptable buy price for those as well. As far as the employees and customer service everyone in the shop has been helpful and Aaron has been someone who really makes you want to do repeat business. He is helpful and willing to take the time to answer questions as well as get you whatever you need be it pulling singles or grabbing you a couple boxes of tokens to look into. Upon more recent visits to the store I was very impressed and grateful to him as I have two family members just starting the game and he threw in some welcome packs for them as well as a deck box to hold the large amount of tokens purchased that day. It also turned out that the set boosters we cracked were some very lucky packs with multiple rares and even several list cards which was a nice surprise for my family as new players to start their own collections. So as for myself and family upon visits to the store none of us has had a poor experience to date and as previously stated I think I will be making Full Grip my standard stop for anything magic related in the...

Haven’t been back here since summer of 2023. Called every few days checking when they would get in the new Japanese 151 and how much would they cost, and each time I was met with different answers, but they all claimed it would be $150 each. When it finally came in (about 7 weeks after their conservative estimates of when they would be in) I went in to purchase 3 booster boxes. The limit was two per person, and was charged $215 each. I was waiting for months for this, and hadn’t bought pokemon for decades so didn’t argue… I even wanted one more, and my mom was in the car waiting for me. She went in and asked for one more, TO WHICH SHE PAID $185??? I had the receipts at one point, but genuinely 5 minutes after I purchase two of them, she walks in and gets it $30 cheaper. Again, what am I gonna do at that point? There are so many questions as to why this happened, and I was so disheartened I haven’t been back to this store. Were they annoyed that I was instantly buying two, annoyed that I called probably half a dozen times over the course of 2 months? Did they think little Timmy would be back no matter what, so might aswell upcharge him, but little ole mom won’t be back too often so give her a cheaper price?? Even though I could’ve walked back in and demanded to know why I got screwed, I was over it. Haven’t been back….

Edit: to the owner, you’re 100% incorrect. Why would I even waste my time making up such an intricate story? I threw my two cents in when I was looking for other LGS’s and saw your store again, and since I’m now way back into pokemon I decided people should know how you screwed me. None of what I said was fabricated in...

Heard this is the best place to buy singles, they definitely have much in stock, it's all about whether or not they give you what you order. Just went there for my first visit.

+: Indirect compliment for one of my choices from the the guy gathering my order, and they had team up tins in stock that my gf wanted.

: ordered 2 reverse Holo cards, they gave me non Holo, didn't notice till after driving an hour back home. Cashed me out and told me goodbye but hadn't given me the most expensive card in the order. Was excited they had ultra prism packs, can't find those anywhere in northern Ohio... Don't buy them from here. They're charging double, fine, rare set, problem is, it's fishy.couldve gotten more for cheaper from the Pokemon website, but saw them and wanted them now. After cashing out, noticed each pack had the front center skid marks as if they've been pulled from one of those pack stack dispensers. Pack foil was all rippled and faded, thought sure, they're old. Zero pulls from these packs, could be coincidence, but the skidmark signifies that they've been purchased elsewhere individually, weighed, and placed in a feux display booster box. I'm also not entirely convinced they're not resealed. Rippled packaging, the same 4 commons present in every pack, most cards off center cut, 6 of the 60 cards had gauges, ridges, dents, or a bent corner, two even have cut corners (not all six from the same pack) and every single online code had either a dented/folded corner and/or ruffled edge as if it's been thrown around, sorted and stacked already. Very disappointed that they forget the most expensive card and gave me non hollow upon...
